2401. Re: Henne
Next game is Cleveland. Hopefully, injured players continue to mend and CH can orchestrate another win, with or without Marshall. Glad the rookies stepped up--but the team still needs to work on special team's coverage. Spotting a team with a TD on a kick off (or any time) is poor play.

Having a HC that's exuberant is a style of leadership that I prefer. Believe me it's far better to know when the main man is happy or unhappy than when that guy is aloof and unemotional. I've had considerable experience with both types and the ones you could easily read had far better performing people and operations. Sparano's side line behavior is easy to read. Brad Childress, is probab

What is important is that others had the opportunity to play and succeeded. This is important for the coaches, the players, and hopefully Brandon Marshall. I'm not a shrink, but must wonder what he thought about other's doing their job at WR without castrating plays with foolish penalties. If he's smart, maybe he learned something positive from it.

I'm not in favor of sitting on a small lead with today's passing environment. Moreover, the best teams are not rattled when down 9 points going into the 4th. Fortunately, the Raiders are average. I prefer consistent, hard-hitting offensive plays that look to score until the clock runs out. I'm pleased that Ricky was able to score a TD. That was unexpected given the running mode we were in

Burn another time out--Yep--who needs them at the end of the game...or do we get 3 per quarter now? Bess is playing like a champ.

The game is too fast for Henne around the 20. He stares down receivers, he is panic stricken, and FGs are not the way to win games most of the time. We lost momentum when he threw that pick over the center. Terrible decision-should have thrown it away. Did you see Sparano on the sidelines yelling-CHAD! He is beside himself with Henne's inability to execute plays-- WC is not working ri

Vontae Davis has missed several tackles today. Davis and Smith got faked out of their jocks on McFadden's run.

I just heard on the pregame radio show that Henne will start at QB. I certainly hope this isn't putting him at further risk physically.

Why do you guys "fight" among yourselves? History has proven that to win you must have a "can do" attitude. Don't make your opinions personal. Everyone is entitled to their own belief system --respect that--and move on. As for the Raiders--I despise them. Don't hate them--they simply are an end product of Al Davis--a gent I would never break bread with. The Raiders h

I'm all for letting CH have a chance. (To date he's started 21 games for the Dolphins). If he is healthy, he should finish the season as the QB and should start each game. However, I suggest that Thigpen be worked diligently in practice to be inserted into the game if CH is unable to score TDs. We'd have nothing to lose giving that a try. I'd even platoon the two if Thigpen could make it happ

Great execution takes practice and talent. When you look at old tapes of the Dolphins in the 71-74 time period, you will see just how synchronized the offense line was in running or passing plays. It's a far cry from many of the teams today. The current Dolphins have not mastered their blocks and it shows in the running game. If the O-line has enough time playing together, harmony and synchron

Vince Young hasn't matured as a man. He was terrific at the college level but hasn't been able to overcome the complexities of NFL defenses, and cope with the higher level of NFL play. While he is the athlete, unless he sees the light at the end of the tunnel pretty soon, mentally, he'll be just another QB flop, heading for the unemployment line. I don't think he'll be sporting a Titans uniform

Okay--thanks for the information. Too bad Satele didn't pan out for us. He's snapping for the Raiders.

Watching Welker yesterday afternoon, I couldn't recall who we selected for the slots we got from NE. We got a 2nd and 7th Rd pick in the draft. What players were selected with those picks? Anyone remember? Thanks.

Victor-- It's not magical. Setting goals for some is hard, getting there more difficult--neither requires magic. Magical connotes a fantasy solution. Making those changes, getting those positions filled requires full creative effort. It may take cash ($), trading and cash, giving up a draft pick, trading a player, cash, etc. No wizardry involved. The first thing, IMO, is determine the

The Dolphins could be a playoff team next year, and with the right mix of players could win the division in two years and play in a SB in 3. Nothing magical about what needs to be done--acquire the right players. Our goal would be to... 1. trade Vernon Carey--too slow--for a more athletic veteran RT 2. secure a top 5 Center, if possible, a veteran who has years left 3. trade Ronnie Brown

Planning to lose goes against the grain of all competitors, against the grain of one's inner self. If anyone on the Dolphins is resigned to lose, they need to quit the team, the coaching staff or the front office, and go find a nice place in namby-pamby land to curl up and suck their thumb.

Marshall would never have acted out if Shula was his HC. Marshall would be taking splinters out of his butt from sitting on bench. I agree--Sparano is not in control of his players.
