That's easy call for me. The 17-0 record is sacred. A Pats win under those circumstance is not. I'd hope (not root) for a Pats win.

Below average quarterbacking is not saying Henne is a below average player. Dan Marino had oh-hum days-- all QBs have. I'm fully aware of Henne's experience level. Henne did not have a good game today. Ricky Williams is still a player! Everybody agree?

Ginn is only one player on the team. He is inconsistent, and doesn't play up to his draft status selection and will not in my opinion. Today, the team as a whole could not match the play of the Saints and that's what caused their strong, steady comeback. I never expect Ginn to make a play. When it happens (rarely) I am momentarily happy. While I can't speak for others, he's a major disappointment

Inspite of the valiant effort on the part of the Dolphins, the better team is the Saints. Drew Brees was not rattled and the Saint coaches were able to keep their players in the game. I observed a "pooping out of the defense" late in the 2nd half. When I noticed that, I thought the Saints would be able to come back if they kept working at it. That was the case. The team is playing pr

I don't exactly agree, but I too am disapppointed in our overall passing game. It is a combination of average receivers and below average quarterbacking. Ginn is not a #1 WR and is probably 2nd string on most teams. I think that holds true for the rest of the receivers too.

Agreed. Ted Ginn is not the WR the Dolphins had hoped for when drafted by Cam Cameron. Even with the game lost he failed to grab that last ball thrown to him in the end zone. A quality receiver would have had that ball for a TD. We definitely need to acquire a #1 WR. The draft will not produce one, we need to buy one or trade picks for one.

On ND. I don't miss many of their games and I'm familiar with the injury to Floyd. I have watched Golden Tate snare many difficult passes and he does a good job hanging on. Nevertheless, my expectation of the ND team, as a whole, is very high. Many Alum feel that way too. Season after season I am disappointed. Defining average is important to my opinion that the support around Clausen is slig

I'm going to jump in on the comments about Jimmy Clausen. First off, I'm a ND fan and have been all my life. My opinion is this: ND is overrated; Charlie Weiss is overrated; and, Jimmy Clausen is grossly overrated. Drafted out of CA, Weiss had great hopes for Clausen leading the Irish to big bowl games and hopefully a National Championship. His freshman year was abysmal. His sophomore year was

Ricky is a decent receiver too and there is room for him to catch and run in play action and wildcat formations. We may see more of this in the weeks ahead. The more he can do, the more valuable he is and defensive coordinators have to take that into account. That means more focus on him. Don't you love it. Run Ricky Run.

Ted Ginn has not reached #1 WR status IMHO; he would not be a #1 on any team in the league. From what I have seen of Brady Quinn's play, he hasn't been able to do much because of the horrid Brown's front line and receiver corp. A Tom Brady or Peyton Manning would be totally frustrated if they had a "team" like the Browns that they were trying to pilot. We've seen the same thing happen t

Parcells will never hire Owens. The baggage and nonsense exceeds his talent. Fool me once, shame on you; fool be twice, shame on me. It's that simple.

Ron Jaworski was a QB; a conventional pocket passing QB. This could easily be why he doesn't care for that helter-skelter RB formation. Who knows. Sparano is still a new coach. Henne is a new QB. Our defense is spotty and we run a "gimmick offense" that is so unconventional in the NFL that most sportscasters discount it and the credibility of the whole Dolphin team. The team has no

Don't sweat Rex Ryan's rhetoric (BS). He knows his team was out played and his staff was out coached. Indicating his team was not well-prepared rather than saying the Dolphins were terrific removes the blame from the Jet team members who were out played on the field. He needs to focus blame on himself versus failures on any one or group of players. He's trying to keep his unit cohesive. Reme

All the prognosticators seemed to favor the Jets. Their record was better, their defense considered more stout, and that tone carried over for a time during the game with all three sportscasters. However, once they saw how methodically the Dolphins were driving the ball, and how game they were, the notion that the Jets would clobber the Dolphins was swept away. The Dolphins may be more than one d

The various formations thrown at the Jets disabled their esteemed defense; it kept the defenders momentarily on their heels. The Wildcat was executed very well from my perspective, even the few plays involving Pat White worked. The tandem of Brown and Williams is what propels the wildcat offense and makes it special. No other tandem in NFL football equals their talent at this time. Kudos to the p

Marino is in the company of Tarkington; and they will be joined by Favre, Peyton Manning, and Brady when the time comes. No sense to put that "burden of greatness" on any young quarterback until they have proven themselves over time as a master at what they do. Chad Henne performed well but each time he handled the ball, I held my breath, not knowing what he would do. My hat is off

I don't get Crowder; he's a piece of work mentally. Ryan, may be just like him--who knows. What I'd like to see is a solid Dolphin victory with a shut out score of 21-O. Yes sir, "No runs, no hits, no errors." Perfecto!

Freeney is clearly one of the top rushers in the league. Long's difficulty with him in was unexpected; rejecting Freeney would have been a nice surprise, that would have been unexpected. As Jake Long gains experience against top rushers, his dominance against the rest will become more evident. Give him time. He's a player and that will eventually show itself against other top pass rushers in the

A few seasons have passed and Ginn has improved, however, he seems to lack the "go get the ball" mentality the great receivers display. Great receivers sacrifice their bodies to some extent in order to pull in that slightly out of reach pass, the type we often see making the highlights on ESPN. To put a label on it, I believe he is a "timid receiver" and because of it will not
