I always proof read my posts--really missed the "way" for "wait." I am typing it correctly 10 times on the computer just for being so damn inept.

If Thigpen does well against the Bears (and we win) it will be more difficult for the front office to replace him after Chad Henne recovers from his injury. However, given the fact he came at a real expense, they will replace Thigpen still thinking he is the Dolphin's future at QB. A mobile QB adds so much more to the team's offense today especially if he can throw the ball too. I compare

I like the way he is able to move about and his throwing arm reminds me of Fran Tarkenton.

Boy, yesterday was one of those days. I'm really sorry that so many players suffered injuries. Pennington's injury may sideline him forever. The injuries to others may not be as damaging. One could say it affords some players the opportunity to step in and step up their game. Perhaps, this may be the case. Thigpen who came off the bench did a very credible job.

If, and I say IF, Sparano and others believe that play calling is poor, Sparano as head coach must communicate that it is poor to Henning. Henning then has the choice of opening up play or sticking to his approach. When it is resulted oriented, and I believe it is, and the conservative play calling is not working and Henning is not capable of making things happen, he must be relieved of his job

I am rooting for Pennington Sunday. What I expect to see is leadership. What I expect to see are plays that are not "catch and crumble" but catches on the run that make yardage. I also expect to see Pennington changing plays at the line of scrimmage when he reads the D. He will improvise when necessary and look to Fasano, Bess, Ricky, and Marshall to make plays when Pennington moves

I'm not going to throw Henne under the bus quite yet although I've complained about him lacking finesse and leadership skills. I draw from my own experiences and offer this as the reason why Pennington is stepping in to lead the team. 1. When a less experienced person runs into difficulty it's often time to bring in a mentor to show that person how things are done. In this case, it is an

You know, most of us are pointing out problems which have not been satisfactorily resolved. Each has there own perspective of what is misfiring. Honestly, misfires are everywhere. I have been down on Chad Henne because his progress has stalled. He doesn't exude the poise I'd like to see from a QB. He doesn't display the take charge leadership, I'd like to see. His ability to time passes wi

Execution and consistent execution on plays makes good things happen. A great throw is only great when it results in something positive. If Henne actually leads his intended receiver and the receiver doesn't execute (catch it) that's a missed opportunity for a play. Both have to be dialed in to make it happen. It takes "two to tango" as they say. Very discouraging team play.

The team was seriously out played today. Special Teams on the Ravens kept the Dolphins pinned back. How many times did the kicker put it in the end zone? Three times, maybe four? Rice, was an elusive RB and receiver. He had a great game and couldn't stop him. Our defense never got on track. What could have been a momentum changer would have been Smith's interception of Flacco's pass. O

A&O--granted Marshall didn't catch it. But where is the ball so that the receiver can catch it while he's running. The ball should meet the player in stride. Henne throws to much at a target. Like a pitcher throwing a high inside pitch to the catcher's glove. Leading the receiver so he can grab it in front of him may allow the receiver to catch and run with it. It also protects the ball

The game is still underway as I write, but the game is over. Henne is not capable of leading his receivers so if they catch the ball they can run with it. Brandon Marshall's expression on the sideline I've seen before. He was upset with Henne's poor pass to him that resulted in Reid's interception and TD. Not wanting to pile on, but Henne is not the answer at QB.

The short pass to Fasano wobbled from the get-go; no one touched it after it left Henne's hand. Henne remains pain-stricken around / inside the 20.

No touch inside the 20. Henne still appears panicky. His throw to Bess was off. He could have thrown it more at the flag allowing Bess to catch it and score. That's my thoughts.

Montequi--I agree wholeheartedly. If a DB can't make the catch make sure nobody else can do it either--swat it to the ground. I sense DBs get a bad rap about not catching balls because they don't! They are so focused on not getting beaten by the wR they are covering, the thought about catching the ball when it's on the way is all but a momentary thought. The better DBs not only cover, they b

Generally speaking, play calling is ultra conservative, as you guys point out. When more receivers are in the game, it tends to alter coverage, as it should, thereby opening up more possibilities for bigger plays--even running plays. We don't run sweeps very well, IMO; we don't use play action enough. We become too predictable and boring. We also kill momentum by switching from what is workin

Crap pass from Henne--could and should have been higher and leading Fasano. Another indicator of his inability to make the big play. Settling for 3 points again--pitiful. Brandon Marshall has only one catch. Get Bess and Marshall in the game.

More poor play calling--forget the Wildcat now--and how about using Bess down inside or near the 20. Deja Vu--not liking this so far. Throw a deep pass.

We will beat the Bengals. How's that for a vote of confidence. The key to the winning as I see it. First: Special teams has to keep the Bengals as close to the their 20 as possible on kickoffs and if possible on their 10 on punts. This will make the field long. It changes their initial offensive attack. Second: Vontae Davis and Dansby must have great games defending the long pass and

Guys--it sure is easy to point fingers at officiating, and I've seen some missed and bad calls; not just this season. When a game is very close, in this case, 1 point, and it is clear that Ben gives up the ball without crossing the plane and it's definitely a fumble and free ball, you just have to wonder why the whole play did not go in the Fins favor. Is it possible for Ben to have fumbled

Excellent observations: "He isn't mobile, he looks stiff, has no pump fake, stares down receivers, has no touch...." Henne played 4 years as the Wolverine QB. Then he was drafted by the Fins. He is playing in his third year. He has had thousands of snaps from center and played against teams that were mush, competitive and great. If after all that work he hasn't been able to fines

"Wow. Ronnie is running like he’s wearing concrete shoes…He isn’t a shadow of what he used to be." Right on BigNastyFish-- Ronnie Brown has lost his desire to run hard against defenders. Ricky remains superior in that regard. I submit, this is Brown's last year with the Fins.

Okay--I'm displeased!!!!!! Another indication of poor clock management at the end of the game. Why did the Dolphins take a time out after winning the flag challenge? No need to have done that. It left nothing and the Dolphins looked panicky when the got the ball back. Another example of not having the ability to make key plays at the end of the game1

"DB's: C- I think any day you face Rodgers it's going to be a long one. We gave up 313 yards even when we put massive pressure on him. We let the top come off the defense a few times." Yes--agree-- 86 yards came in one big play for a TD. Other than that bomb we would have done pretty good overall. If we can eliminate those type of plays/ mistakes...we can only hope. Good pressure from

I agree the officiating was not that good. Our erratic play calling was just as good. IMO Ronnie made that first down. GB think they were robbed with the call on the NT being over the center on the kick.
