Okay, now we are down to some distasteful alternatives.


The Jest versus the Patsies.

The Jest beat the Patsies in the first game.

Therefore, first thought. We root for the Patsies.

Reason, Because even our long shot hopes for a division title or wild card probably involve a tie.

If the Jest beat the Patsies again, not counting a victory by Buffalo over them ( and I haven't checked the schedule to see if Buffalo has played either one of them twice already), then the Jets would have a division advantage over Us as well as the Pats.


Right now we are 1-2 in the division. If we beat both the Patsies and the Jest and Buff again, we will be 4-2.


Assuming both the Patsies and the Jest sweep the Bills, we beat them both, and not counting their game against each other, the Patsies would be 3-2 (2W Buff 1W Mia- lL Jets and 1L Mia) and the Jest would be 4-1(2W Buff 1W Mia 1W NE and 1L Mia).

As such, it would be in our interests if the Patsies won which would make them 4-2 in the division, the Jests 4-2, and us 4-2 (by beating all division rivals).

The problem is that the Patsies are good and the Jest are lucky. There are not many opportunities for the Patsies to lose after that and to win the division, we will need for them to lose two other games, preferably in the AFC (that's why our loss to the Titans really, really, sucked.)

It sucked so bad that it didn't even happen. We beat the Titans.

RESPONSE: Ravens, I'm sorry. Until then we were only one game behind plus our losses to the Jest and Patsies. That put us down in head to head plus 2 games.
