every away team seems to have more fans....the whole culture of PHIN fandome at home has become pitiful....who is part owner and what is the stadium name this week?
J-LO, Mark Anthony, Serena Williams....Latin flavor??!!....this aint soccer....stop the circus!!
Is anyone else scared this team could relocate to Los Angeles?? They want a franchise BAD whether or not it's expansion or at the cost of another franchise.
It's not the first time a team has just packed up and moved now is it?
Can anyone throw me any assurances that this team won't be moved? thanks!

Anything is possible in the NFL. It is all about money and if some big business can real away a team from a state that already has two other teams. You bet it can happen. The only draw to keeping it here money wise is that the stadium is in South Florida.
No matter where the fans are coming in from, as long as they buy a ticket, the owner gets the money. Fans of visiting teams buying tickets pay with US dollars don't they? Their money is just as good as a local fan's money.
And as far as the regional economy goes, it's BETTER that out-of-towners are buying seats. That's because a tourist in town for the long weekend will spend money at a hotel, eat their meals at restaurants, drink at the bars, visit other local attractions while they're in town, etc.
The local government and tourism office notices this. merchants notice this. That's why it's nowhere near as bad as *universal* apathy toward the team.
It sucks as a fan to see the stands populated with fans of the enemy, but as long as visiting fans (especially from the north when the weather is beginning to get cold) are attracted to S. Fl as a destination, they will pick up a lot of the slack that local fans leave behind.
I went to a phins' game in Miami in 06. We played the packers. I've got a good picture of me flicking off my section of all Packers fans. Joey threw the rock 54 times and we lost. Booker had a good game

And so it starts again!!! So and So will be the savior of our franchise!!! Parcells, Brandon Marshall, John Beck and so on!!!!
The only thing that will "save" this franchise is a relocation. That will come with mandatory PSL etc...... The problem is that Ross owns the stadium....
In summary, for the foreseeable future, we are up *#it crick without a paddle
Living in Los Angeles, I'll tell you why it will not happen.
Other teams have been attracted by the fact that one of the largest media markets in the nation does not have a team.
However, here is the problem. There are certain politicians who have a strangle-hold on the process who demand that any team have its stadium in the Coliseum area.
Although this area is also the area for USC, it is not the type of environment it was when the Rams played there or even the Raiders. The USC students live on campus and are insulated from the surroundings.
Other folks, including me, would have to park in the surrounding neighborhoods and walk to the game.
There they would face gangs, robbers, and who knows what not.
It has become a very dangerous area wherein most fans would, therefore, not brave to see a game absent the building of parking that would ensure that a sell out crowd would not have to venture in the neighborhood.
Historically, the alternative has been a suburb about 20 or so miles to the east called Irwindale (also noted for car racing).
However, the politicians won't let that happen and the team owner simply will not agree to go into the Coliseum area.
So every other team has said, "Thanks but no thanks."
I cannot see the Dolphins doing any different.
Of course, these politicians are elected to represent the very area (the Coliseum area) in which they are insisting the stadium be built or that the Coliseum itself be used. So they are not going to change. And the owners are not going to agree to put a team down there. So LA will probably never have a team.

Nah. Relocation won't do it. It's about getting the right personal in the front office

I don't see it. They've haven't sucked enough to bolt.

No way. They've been in Minny too long to move, and they've had some GREAT seasons there.
> San Diego
Maybe, but they haven't been bad enough as of late to justify a move.

After moving to Toronto? If they change ownership they may move, but the league would have a problem with an AFC-East team on the west coast. I don't think they'd approve it.
