Samsam, don't worry about Wake. He is generating pressure and QB hits but he just hasn't gotten a sack yet. Those sacks are elusive and not a true measure of a pass rushers impact. Cam Wake's presence is being felt.
Also, I thought in the second half of the Raiders game, Coyle did a good job generating pressure with some stunts and blitz packages. Palmer's numbers plummeted under pressur

It's early yet. Vernon is still a developing player and Odrick is also still developing to a certain extent. Let's not forget that Odrick is basically a DT that is playing DE because we have no one else. I look for Odrick to put up pressure numbers consistent with a good pass rushing DT not someone like Wake, Peppers, or Jared Allen.

another point, sean smith has looked good through two games this year. He only allowed two catches in the oakland game. and i believe they rotated corners on Dre for the first game, who is a tough cover for any corner.

What? we can't stop the run? thats the one thing we are

they probably practice it and maybe have problems with outkicking their coverage. I'm sure brandon has discussed this with the ST coach if he really feels like he can boot it 70 yards consistently (which i agree that he can by the way). Maybe better to kick it to the 30 and tackle the returner immediately then kick it to the 10 and let the returner build up a head of steam.

to each his own crowder. But it seemed, from watching the video again, that the team was pretty enthusiastic about it. They broke out into clapping and cheers that seemed genuine. didn't come across cheesy to me.
alot of stuff that ross has done has upset me, but this just doesn't get under my skin.

Well put DK, I agree. I've seen videos or read articles of other owners giving game balls, it's not that uncommon.

chyren, seriously, your gonna hate a guy based on one game? you must not like any players then.
Packers aren't loaded. Their defense sucked last year, i mean historically bad, and they still went 15-1. They are skilled on offense but they have no running game. Rodgers is ridiculous, he is the best QB right now and he is clearly playing on a level on a few have ever reached.

I agree, we have to build some momentum in the early part of the season. Another win or two before the bye will give everyone confidence to win some of the tougher games we play after the bye.

Wow, I'd say Aaron Rodgers is better than Eason and Boomer already and will be better than Kelly shortly. Elway and Marino will be hard to catch but Rodgers is a

not sure we will be drafting any big, fast receivers. GB WR tend to be around six feet and more quick than fast. Most are still fast but not burners. WR need to have good hands, good routes, and good knowledge of defensive coverage since GB WR adjust their routes depending on coverage all the time. Big, fast TE would be great though

i agree berk. however, i would pay him more money in an effort to get shorter deal done. anything over 4 seasons is too long and a 3 year deal would be perfect

the only LBs consistently good in coverage play in zone heavy schemes, it is too much to ask a LB to run with RB and these new faster TE's from play to play in tight man coverage.

No just because we would have to pay Mike Wallace a huge contract just to keep him beyond this year. The contract for Wallace is going to be MUCH larger than the one Bush gets after this season. So not worth the money. I like that we will have lots of cap space and don't want to trade it in for a WR that might not even fit our system. Not to mention that in our system WR seem to be devalued,

49ers had a lot of blue chip talent though. Patrick willis, frank gore (maybe not so much now but he was a top R, Justin Smith, Vernon Davis. Plus a lot of good players already there: Navorro bowman, ray mcdonald, staley, iputai, crabtree, ahmad brooks. They had a lot of cap room and got a few more good players: whitner, carlos rogers, akers. Plus they nailed their first rounder in aldon smith

Those batted passes are on Tannyhill and oline. Oline needs to keep the hands of the Dline down but Tannyhill needs to see passing lanes better. If we had more competent WR corps then it would help as well. At least the running game looked decent, we were getting good push most plays.
One thing i was glad to see: Once we blew the game and allowed 3 tds in the final two minutes of the half,

D looked ok, not terrible but not great. turnovers absolutely killed us. we had similar yardage totals plus we were better on ST. we can still handle the run game as we held them under 100 yards for the day. pass D is suspect but remember that Houston is a damn good team.

This is the exact type of ignorant fan that gives all Miami fans a bad name. At least back up your insults with something pretending to be factual.

I think we will see improved secondary play. By the way, Joseph was a first round pick so not sure you can call him a bust or a cast off since he has been good his whole career. Hall was also a higher round pick and has been good but I completely agree with the rest of your list.
