How much of apositive effect do you think he will have on the secondary?

He was know for taking castoffs from other teams and underachievers and turning them into top notch players who force turnovers.

He did it with players like Jonathon Joseph, Leon hall, Reggie Nelson, Chris Crocker, Taylor Mays, Gibril Wilson.

We definitely have the underachieving personnel to work with....

I think we will see improved secondary play. By the way, Joseph was a first round pick so not sure you can call him a bust or a cast off since he has been good his whole career. Hall was also a higher round pick and has been good but I completely agree with the rest of your list.

At least we cross our fingers it has to get better, DK, and I'm putting my hopes on it getting any better but I'm damn sure not putting my money on it.

I can get it at +13 and 6.5 games for the season this morning... Lines are moving, lots of people betting against us..

13 is still a good number and 6.5 wins is a joke.

I don't bet because I worship Shiva. But if I did I would.

We havent lost to Houston by more then ten points ever. In 6 match ups..
The line on this game opened at 6 and has been pushed all the way to 13 with obviously heavy betting on the Texans. That is alot... The matchup and cpu's put it at 6...

Considering we have never lost to houston by more then ten. I like the bet at anything above that....

Losing by 2 TD's seems entirely possible. And I don't think the past has anything to do with tomorrows game.

Let's be real. We're starting a rookie QB on the road against a very solid team with a very good front 7.

It is the highest spread in the entire NFL this week. TO win by 13 is pretty huge. The reason we have always played within ten, is our defense has been decent during those years, despite the talent on houstons offensive side, we held them with in ten.
The cpus ananlysis had it at 6, what moved it to thirteen was betting by people not statistical analysis..
Houston has to stop our defensive line... and our defensive line has to hold the edge and contain the run... I would bet on Miami at 13, way before I bet against us with that spread.

IMO the ONLY WAY we keep within 13 is a few meaningless scores in garbage time.

But we'll see. My crystal football is off-line at this moment...

If Tannehill can keep the chains moving and not fall apart. The offensive line and running game do their job. Our defense plays like they are capable of. We have three probowlers on the defensive line, by far the strongest part of our team, and they need to play like probowlers.. We can keep it close... but we could just as easily get destroyed with our team not having enough time in new systems... TOnight might be my last chance to have some hope, so i am not going to relinquish it until I must...hahahaha

3 Probowlers on DL???

I though you said Ireland sucks?

How in the hell did he swindle "3 ProBowlers."

oh yea, I know, 1 was here, but the other 2?

The other 2 were Randy Starks and Cam Wake...neither of which drafted by Ireland, they had to pick to come here... but I commend Ireland for getting them... But both signed while Parcells was here and had some clout to draw the players. Ireland on his own hasnt had the same clout to get a players to choose us over someone else...
