I really don't get the criticism on Tannehill. The guy threw as well as any QB in the league could have with the blocking he got. THE FO knew that and spent the draft pick on Dion. I hope Dion pans out in the long run, but we screwed up in not addressing the oL last year. It wasn't a QB problem!

I think we lose out if we drop him prior to some development and injury heal time. Maybe we over paid, but we're not being offered enough to give up on him. I'd like to see this coaching staff take on the role of developing young talent, and he's a good candidate for that! -------------- Please draft or get some OL help too!

eesti> If Buffalo ever gets good, consistent QB play (and WR), they will be tough. Easier said than done. Normally I would agree with this ... except for my head screaming a reminder back to me that Buffalo beat Miami twice last year - That was so painful

Whew ... you guy gotta be kidding. Tannehill is one of the bright spots of the season and this is what you guys think is wrong? Sorry a lot more blame to throw around than pointing at Tannehill. - New OC yes, new OL yes Fix that and a lot gets better ala running game, protection = offense. Please find something better to whine about than the QB. Thats the one thing that was muc

Hogwash ... keep what we got before any of that. The team did pretty good outside of the decision to pass on an OL he did pretty well. The team had a chance to get in the playoffs easily and blew it. Not the GM fault except for OL. - Coaches need a hard look in the mirror about play calling in last 2 games and getting beat by BUF twice? for shame!

Sorry but the fins lost twice to buffaloe and to the jets when it counted ... nothing else matters

The playoffs are now a stretch, but could have been a cinch if we had not laid an egg against two very winnable games (Bills / Bucks). If you lose to teams like that you don't get into the playoffs). We are only close to the discussion because of so many other upsets out there.

Keep in mind folks that you had a different breed of OL in Marinos day Richmond Webb Keith Simms Tim Ruddy Billy Milner They just played football

> This defense drives me crazy. They make big plays, but I saw waaaaay too many missed tackles tonight. Phillip Wheeler may be fast, but he's out of position too much and misses tackles he should make-see Bernard's TD run. Agree, I can't understand how we hold for two downs and give up 3rd and 15+ again and again.

The line still has issues. Tannehill made some nice throws in the last 2 drives. This team needs some leaders and to pull together, hazing is for training camp cut the crap and grow up when the season starts

It was no mystery that we needed OL - We had the chance to fix it at the 3rd position in the draft and opted for DL instead. - We had several other OL FAs all be it not top shelf ... but no one added. - We had trade material during the draft - etc etc This was well known by all but not acted on ... not sure why, but it stinks now ... too late to get quality help

So true but with re: to loss against BUF ... we couldn't move the ball, and could have still won if we could. We haven't the Offensive line to run or pass. I thought this year would be different - Looking like a weak-sister team again

Hard to imagine playoffs after losing to BUF ... it will require a win out in the division to be in the discussion, and some losses by NE and NY - Too little too late on dealing with OL Seems like this team just gets all but the key needs and then starts over at the other end of the roster with a new coaching staff

I think the whole thing is moot because we have a 1/2 ass O-line. The one area we chose to not address in FA nor the draft and is killing us. - A little more time ... we are hitting the long pass using the speed we bought at WR - Run blocking and we have a run game and play action option Everyone has said it ... but no one has responded to the O-Line talent gap ... its hurting the who

He means Wallace is complaining about not getting more long balls thrown his way. - The problem is, you can't throw the long ball without blocking to give Tannehill time....He's the most sacked QB in the league. - Block better and he'll be throwing more long balls Every AFC game is critical because the AFC is kicking butt on the NFC thus far. - Most important games however will be uip

My two cents worth is we should have kept Reggie Bush. - Despite the injuries, he's a gamer and a threat That said I like Lamar Miller, and have no clue why D. Thomas is playing. He has yet to perform well.

Louis is the only surprise to me. Lane needed to go, couldn't get the 1st down on short yardage, why keep him? No pain yet

It used to be that a team wouldn't keep a lot of TEs. Now they seem to be putting 3 TEs on the field at one time for some formations. Hoping someone has a glut of talent there and we can get an upgrade at some point. We need one bad and don't have anyone on the roster that looks like the answer to me. Everyone but the FINS have a quality TE if not 2 of them.

Gotta be better out there for a TE. The rest of 24 bubble players we won't miss either. That's scary, usually feel like there is more of those guys I'd like to keep. We desperately need a TE. Too bad about Keller going down. We needed him.

To me it looked like a combination of two things: 1. Team was not ready for the Dallas defense at all. 2. LT and the line in general was outplayed all night. Thus the offense was scary weak except for one bright spot (Lamar Miller). He made cuts and people look like they were standing still, despite having not much OL. Tanneyhill and all our QBs were sitting ducks most of the night

The one issue not addressed in off season was LT. Hope it gets better

Would be cool if the fins turned Dion into a 3rd down pass specialist and on D, and also used him as a TE in special situations. Nice size target and match-up near the end zone

I think a 1st is too much. Our 2nd and a 3rd should easily get us to 34.

We will know by the end of today if we plan to resolve the OL situation in the draft. As noted, I don't think the FA market is dried up, but rather likely about to get more fertile ground. It going to be interesting to see how much Ireland is willing to play out the chicken game with KC. - KC really doesn't need to have the salary hit of keeping BA I'm hoping we do something valuable
