Any chance they try to put him back at the TE position? Philbin's discussion interview went on about how he can do many different things beyond pass rush, also dropping into coverage. Might be cool to see them put him in there in a goal line situation for another big target!

I'd say both KC and Albert may be more willing to negotiate after round 1.

Not necessarily a hole ... but I think it would be pretty special to land Lattimore or Lacy if still around or possibly a move up with multiple picks after we do our thing at 54. (both 3rds or a 3rd and other to get into 2nd round) Lattimore might even be there in round 3

> you see one worried people but i see 3....... Wasn't limiting, just responding, one is not defining a single person but just one or perhaps many that might take the position of gloom about the pick. Most people were surprised. Those (one or more) after reflection degrading the pick IMHO seem to me to be more worried about Brady landing on his bottom than the interest of the Dolp

Swapping 54 for Brandon Albert would be good for me except for the salary he's supposedly looking for. I'm hoping his demands get more reasonable given the events of day 1. 1. KC has a new and younger LT. Yes, they could start him at RT this year and keep BA at LT but they may not want to go that way. - Options for both KC and BA are lessening. - The Phins don't need to freak just yet, th

> Did he say he had a spin move 7 times faster then Dwight Freeney? Not exactly: They said his spin move was 25% faster than 7 time pro-bowler Dwight Freeny Still an young version of Dwight Freeny is awesome

Wow, some people always see the glass half empty. 1. Caught me and everyone else by surprise, but a high value deal! 2. Brilliantly disguised and clearly a BPA selection 3. Ballsy move and preceded by filling must needs It has been a long time since this team had a scary defensive push. Wake and Dion could be a great combo freak rush! Smile it wont hurt!

We'll have more leverage and insight after the top part of the draft is known. Maybe someone falls to us, and worst case we work out the deal after they pick an LT higher up. It would be good to get him at the right price, but I think it would be an over reaction to overpay Albert & give up the 2nd pick (even if it is 54) I'd say hope for an LT to fall to 12, if not use 12 on BPA, pi

Does or should this points scale be modified based on the talent pool of the draft year? - Seems like it wouldn't if its intended to be a trading guide - Yet it seems like it should if you have a low talent year (like this one) for top value prospects like QBs in a particular year.

Cowardly losers! Its a shame America has become such a magnet for division of classes and a target for the haters and jealous of this world. Domestic or terrorist? Who knows but until the whole of the population in America denounce and actively stand against such behavior, it will go on. So sad to think of the families of these innocent people

What a hoot. All that aside; the Fins haven't had a double long threat since duper and clayton. Its gonna be fun!

Spoken like a lawyer .... assuming tongue is in cheek BPA means to me that you are selecting the highest valued player (quantified in terms of draft grade). Draft for need becomes a bit confusing to fans because we instinctively value fixing those areas that we have gaps (or positions of need). In the truest sense drafting by BPA means forget your need, draft the highest graded player a

The only RB id see worth spending an early pick for would be Ed Lacy (Game Changer, and good pass receiver too). - He could be had with a 2nd rounder Maybe Lattimore also in a 3rd or 4th round. Personally I think we'll be okay with what we have and will find better value or BPA in the early 3 rounds than to go for an RB but who knows.

Key part of the input for this question is not yet known! That is who performs best in this totally new Dolphin passing attack? I wouldn't count Bess out yet. he's a great possession receiver and the team will find ways to pay him if he performs! Lots of new moving parts with Wallace, Gibson, Tannehill with a years experience, TE in the mix. I'm thinking Bess will get open often.

Can't understand why people are always wanting to get rid of the 4th of 5th receiver? Successful passing attacks these days have 5 receivers and having a fresh one and depth all the time is a good thing. No Bess does not need to be released! or traded!

> 1st bonehead move by ireland this year....Hopefully all the other moves pan out. I respectfully disagree. I think we very much needed both experience and a talent upgrade. Particularly on 3rd down coverage and red zone. - Everyone loves a sure thing, but if it was a sure thing we wouldn't be getting top of the line potential for 5.5 M We actually need (in my humble opinion) an u

I love this move. Yea maybe a bit of risk, but he is well within current recovery timelines for this injury. I'd say much lower risk than I suggested above. Else you don't fork out 5.5 M. Great Move. I like the near term potential and the opportunity to draft a corner that can learn from him!

What do you think the hold up is on Grimes making a decision. Any word out what he's asking and what the Fins are offering? - Must be asking for a big wad of $$$ Seems like it would be a nice fit for him and the FINS I'm not freaking because I feel like we have the draft picks and existing personnel to get by. I just think if we had a quality corner we leverage our draft options t

>To all you armchair GMs, Ireland is doing fine. He picked a great coach, a great QB, and has set this team up to make huge strides with a boatload of cash, and a bevy of draft picks. Without a lot of copy paste I have to agree with SoCals summary, and am willing to let this play out. 1. Truth is because of the draft and the salary cap, no one changes the talent pool in a year.
