Long was one of the few LTs to get the big money up there at his first contract. With Rookie signing cap, not too many OL rookies will get the kind of payday he did. The dolphins mgmt screwed up twice. First time was taking Ginn at # nine and not developing him Second mistake was dumping him for nothing. He should have been kept around, as his speed and as a decoy is useful ... as he is used at SF. Lastly I think when he was here we did zip to develop receivers.
