Crowder52--the pass to Charles Clay was a thing of beauty. It was exciting. No doubt about it. Even the naysayers have to admire that play on a highlight reel.
Yes, I knew the NFL wasn't going to award another SB to SF because of the old stadium. Yet the SB is more than a stadium it's more than 3 hours of football too; it's a week long extravaganza. It should be held in a location where the

Local Dolphins fans are very upset with the performance of the team and I expect that there will be fewer fans attending the next game because of it. I'm one of them.
From my perspective, the MNF loss to the Saints, lost us quite a bit of respectability nationally. Our team was on stage. No celebrity "expert" gave us a thumbs up in that one. They were right! Even with the Ravens l

I agree that play calling is terrible. The idea of deceiving the opposition seldom occurs. Everyone in the stadium, alright almost everyone, knows when a Dolphins' play will be a pass or a run. When the team can't make headway running the ball, and we fall behind in the score, you can bet the farm that 80% of the plays will be passing plays and that the O-line is going to be facing oncoming ru

Having this Sunday off allows for some bumps and bruises, physical soreness and pain to subside, maybe even heal, but what else will that extra time do? Will it provide the O-line the opportunity to improve their individual and collective play?
I don't believe any changes will be made, no experimentation by re-arranging players by position. WYSIWYG! Everyone, IMO will be back as before.

I'll give a thumbs up to Sturgis on his overall play. He did shank a kick off--that was surprising, but all the other field goal kicks were good except that 57 yarder. What chance did he have making that one? Twenty to one? Higher?

Tannehill was off target on a lot of his throws yesterday and Wallace was not able to reach far enough to get them. I also suspect that part of the inaccuracy was that Wallace was expecting something different from Tannehill and Tannehill was expecting something different from Wallace.
Characterizing those off target throws as drops is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. Agree with ChyrenB.

Sherman is showing that he's a poor judge at creating and calling plays. I think it's time for him to step down and retire. There has to be a good OC out there that can mix the plays up and take this team to the next level. The big problem aside from play calling is the porous O-line. John Jerry and Clabo are cannon fodder. For every sack they allow, $5000 should be deducted from their pay and

ChyrenB--
I sense part of the Tannehill's disappointing play is related to his time back at Texas AM. I saw Skip Bayless talk about Tannehill the other day and pointed out that he watched him during college and found that he would play 3 games in a row, look good, and then crap out the next week. Then do it again. He plays decent then goes to hell. I sense that is the damn coaching from Sher

Yes--Game Over. The O-line is terrible, absolutely terrible. Plays from the OC were equally terrible. This is a game we should have won.

Tannehill trying to hard to get Wallace into the game...suggest spreading the ball around a little more to the others. FWIW

Blaine Gabbert was hired. He got a job. The job is a bad one for him. It happens. He needs to get a chance somewhere else where the supporting cast is better than pitiful.
I liked him coming out of college and thought that with grooming and a decent team he could become a solid QB.

This thread goes on and on like the Energizer bunny. LOL
ChryenB--glad you got the pomposity thing cleared up. Disliking Philbin is your right for whatever reason...can't argue nor do I want to over that.
I must reiterate though, people are picked for important positions based on the perceived notion that they have the aptitude to do the job. That opportunity is never one where the pe

Today's Sun Sentinel has several columns about moving on to the Ravens. I do think, based on what was reported that many of our offensive plays have been figured out....meaning they have become redundant and easy to figure out. Maybe so. Another thing mentioned was the apparent lack of chemistry (my words) between Wallace and Tannehill. If there is a lack of chemistry or confidence between the

Damn surprise about Clutts. I thought he did just fine. He made a great block two games ago that permitted a goal line TD.
Philbin couldn't utilize him for more things? I don't get it.

The prevent defense--the one that's "used" to try and stop obvious passing plays and typical 3rd down plays--is a terrible defensive arrangement IMO. A 3 man front, gives the QB time to hit his receivers more often than not. Why teams keeping trying it, using it, blows me away. The applies to the Dolphins too. Knocking down a pass, putting pressure on the QB, that's a better effort--

I agree with you Truth and Samsam, if the team can beat the Ravens, it will show some "mettle" and that will put us at 4-1, far better than I expected several weeks ago.
Playing in the SuperDome against the Saints of today isn't like it used to be. Remember the Bags fans wore over their heads? LOL
I hope the thrashing we took in the Dome is motivational and one that team membe

After watching the total breakdown of the team in the second half, I have to agree with Hooligan that stated: "Not ready for prime time yet."
The team was out coached and out played. Our players, with few exceptions looked like amateurs.
The mistakes made in the first half showed, IMO, the lack of mental toughness needed to fight back, stay focused, and not be confused during t

I have no problem with a QB that can roll out when necessary. Or, for a QB to run on designed plays. The obvious is that Tannehill must secure the ball, must slide and be happy with picking up 5 yards rather than risk a heavy hit that could hurt him or dislodge the ball trying to make 10 yards.

Aside from the poor play of Tannehill, (2 interceptions and one fumble) which players, if any, do you believe had a decent performance.
I thought Pouncey had a good.
Anyone else?
