We gave Wallace how much money?

And in his defense, on a couple of the passes his momentum was going in one direction and the pass that hit his hands was going in the opposite direction or the pass goes just barely off his fingertips. Not sure if you can characterize them as "drops."
Maybe I hard on QBs like I am on coaches, but I blamed Tannehill for almost all of those drops I saw.
Tannehill was off target on a lot of his throws yesterday and Wallace was not able to reach far enough to get them. I also suspect that part of the inaccuracy was that Wallace was expecting something different from Tannehill and Tannehill was expecting something different from Wallace.
Characterizing those off target throws as drops is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. Agree with ChyrenB. The fact is they were not completed.
Rich Gannon, I think said, that you can't overthrow Wallace. I think that comment is pretty accurate in interpreting his speed downfield. Tannehill needs to let 'er fly so Wallace can out run the coverage.

True, RT has thrown short of Wallace, but for the money Wallace is getting, he needs to make the majority of those catches. Hell, Gibson and Hartline and doing a much better job than Wallace. In fact, so is Clay.
A QB is NEVER going to get a ball into a receiver's hands every time. If he is under pressure, he is throwing to the area to where his guy is and depending on the receiver to make the play. There are times a QB cannot lead a receiver as he would get crushed by the defender. He at times has to throw the back shoulder pass. The QB is putting the ball into a tight window, it has to be somewhat off, depending on the position of the defenders.
Many times Marino put the ball up for grabs knowing his receiver(s) would come down with the ball. That's the way it is with QBs; if they trust you, you will get the ball...if they don't, they will go to the receiver they can most depend on.
I am not saying the above is something posters here don't already know; I am just reminding everyone that a receiver is supposed to catch the balls that they get their hands on. Wallace is paid to catch the ball; he isn't doing that very well. Wallace also needs to shut his mouth about not getting the ball enough. RT can't depend on him.
