it's called an injury....you know. Like when you had your balls removed.

I agree. He is disruptive as hell but he is aging and may no tbe as active as he wears down.
The whole Dolphins team seemed sluggish though, as if they were all nursing hangovers. I suspect this is just one of those breather games were we just have to let it go and get fired up for the upcoming week against the Super Bowl champs. That will be a better test to measure where this team is at.
It's hard to tell by the score, but I thought our O-line was playing the best game of their season in the 1st half, when the game got out of control and the Saints could pin their ears back.....not so much. I also thougt our run def finally lived up to it's billing.
I'm Tannehills biggest supporter , but that game was completely on his shoulders. yes there were some nice perfect balls that were dropped (as usual) But he fumbled and threw threw that interception. Those two turnovers cost us . That and that 3rd and inches in the 1st Qtr and they decided to hand it off and sweep instead of just pushing the pile. Erase those three plays and the momentum of the game switches.

I still don't think we would have won, but if RT doesn't fumble and doest throw that first int we probably lead at the half and make a better showing in the 2nd half.

Yeah i guess he is best when he accelerates in kick returns.....he is quick as hell and i dont know how he got caught from behind. It seemed he was not at full speed.
I agree with the last two posters- Pouncey, Clay, Hartline, and Odrick caught my eye in a positive way. Thigpen and Gibson each had a play. Nobody else did even that much.

I agree with this.... RT didnt have that bad of a game.. it reminded me a bit of the Houston Game last year... Where we got off track made 3-4 bad, dumb plays, and next thing you know the game is all but over... Consistency was a problem... RT had some great passes even drives.. Coach Sherman called some great plays, but both of them made bonehead plays or calls that hurt us beyond recovery....
Then you have to give it to Sean Peyton, he called a hell of a game on the offensive side of the ball. We shut down his run game but he still schooled Coyle, even without a running game and one dimensional... The game was hard to watch once it spun out of control... But take away 3-4 plays or play calls as TCP said, and it is a much different game, with possibly even a different result...

What cost us the game was horrible coaching -- at least at the coordinator level -- which of course runs up the hierarchy to the HC.
For example -- Thills INT late in the 2nd (My Yammie down 14-10). More than ANYTHING, that play proved to me Thill was NOT prepared sufficiently for a CB playing "heavy inside technique" (in anticipation of a slant) and not checking out -- which the kid is plenty capable of doing.
Point of fact -- the Saints staff was READY to throw a few wrinkles at Thill that he was not ready to deal with -- and that means our staff was out-coached and ill-prepared to deal with the "elevated" adjustments Norlens made to beat us (handily)!
Other than that -- we were effectively dominating the LOS (and thus had the horses to play) and yet found a way to turn Sproles into a Reggie Bush on steroids (tho he may be) and could never imagine the possibility of attacking the Saints O with a consistent 4-5 man front and playing 5-6 DBs -- thus daring the Saints to win between the tackles (which was NOT going to happen).
I could go on. But why. Our coaching for that game was atrocious! Absolutely horrible.
Yea, maybe we still get beat. But we don’t get embarrassed and look like fools in the process…
Some of you guys are over analyzing this loss, it was a total team effort (coaches included) that ultimately falls on RT17 with the 3 turnovers, we got beat by one of the best QB's and coaches in the game, time to move on guys, get worried if the coaches and RT17 don't learn from their respective mistakes, until then, let's not panic too much.
After Norleans made a few adjustments -- we looked like a high Scholl team. Totally incapable of responding -- in real time -- to the smart countermoves of our opponent. That fact is NOW the path to beat this team every time. You watch. And that's NOT on the players as much as its on the coaches. So we better CORRECT the game-time coaching issue and make corrections after a series. Not after the game.
And I'm not buying for a second that the disparity in talent is THAT radical.
Yea, Brees is good. Especially when we're giving up 20+ yards on a screen pass on 3rd and 20.
We were gashing that team on the ground and then we make it a dual between Thill and Brees??? Not smart. Very dumb in fact. And a perfect recipe for defeat.
