I was not unhappy when Tannehill was selected by the Dolphins. I'm going on record to state that. I watched some video of his play at Texas A&M and thought he could very well be a franchise QB in the NFL. Last year he was a rookie with very few ball games as a QB under his belt but he had his old HC working with him as the OC here. That had promise written all over it. During preseaso

That was definitely a highlight. Great effort...well done. It doesn't take enough of the sting away from the loss though.

Post Game comments: We saw a guy that ran out of steam and was out played, out muscled and out foxed by DeAngelo Williams in the fourth quarter when the Dolphins had the lead. Tyson Clabo will be out of football at season's end.

The Dolphins--well what can I say that we all aren't thinking. Mistakes, mental break downs, inconsistent play calling, inconsistent effort, against a Bills team running on 7 cylinders. Tannehill's throws today were erratic. Some had no zip to them. Speaking of zip, Tyson Clabo lost his in the 4th quarter. DeAngelo Williams won this game for the Bills. They should buy him beer and dinn

When you (management) believes that a person is under achieving, having a helpful conversation with them often proves beneficial, especially when you provide constructive suggestions, rather than merely " you need to step it up." That phrase may be over simplified and presented to the media in that over simplified way. Let's hope that instruction went along with the conversation and t

TRUTH--you make some good arguments so hats off to you. If the Washington Redskins were coming into existence today, I'd bet that Redskins would not be a likely moniker. The Redskins name however, is steeped in history and it's not likely to change any more than Coca-Cola would change it's name.

Okay--so as of this morning, the poll is 70% who vote believe that Clabo will not improve. So as is the movie Dumb and Dumber--"there's a chance."

Samsam--you're a poet and don't know it! I agree--"do better" huh ! Is like my dad telling me to do better in math. When I got a 96% he complained, "how come you didn't get 100?" When I asked for math help he'd say, "I already went to school, you need to figure it out. Stay at it, you'll get it." Funny, my dad had a lot of hope for me. Maybe lik

According to Omar Kelly, as reported in today's Sun Sentinel, Jim Turner and or Sherman told Clabo to step up his game or face being benched. If it's a matter of not putting 100% into playing Right Tackle, then the encouragement (motivational talk) will show results against the Bills. However, if he's not capable of staying with his blocks, and and has been giving it his all, there will b

Grimes will be re-signed, but his trash talking classless spouse will be in divorce court looking to cash in on hubby's paycheck. Their relationship won't last, IMO. A spouse that doesn't support her man's livelihood ain't a keeper.

Hmmm. I don't really see a namesake comparison for him yet. He exhibits traits of several QBs but can't say for sure who he is most like without appearing daft. Okay here goes. RT holds the ball too long. As I recall Bart Starr did that too but had a better team around him, so Starr had better results from doing it. Other than Starr, I have nothing else.

SamSam, I don't believe Miller is a scrub, but it sure makes me wonder about the particulars as to why there's a charge for a 8 x 10 photo, unless it was taken by a professional photographer who is cutting Miller in on his private venture, and not part of the PR department of the Dolphins. Who knows.... There a local car show in January of each year held at Ed Morse Chevrolet at Sawgrass. It

Until the O-line develops, improves considerably, RT is a stationary target trying to sit in the pocket. Movement, scrambling, or by design affords more time to a) not get sacked, b) throw the ball away, without it being called for grounding, or c) actually finding an open receiver to throw the ball too which may include Wallace going deep. Becoming a pocket passer may be the "right way

The Miami Heat doesn't compare to the Dolphins. With the Heat you have the best basketball player on the planet right now and a supporting cast that produces exciting games and WINS. The media talks about James daily so the spotlight is on him and the Heat. That's real excitement. If they were a bumbling team with no relevant players worth watching and few wins, there would be slight fan interes

Dolphaholic-- I took no offense to anything you've stated. I was a bit perplexed about how you stated it. Comparing football locales is interesting. Fans are different across the country as far as I can tell. Some are more fervent than others and appear to support the team by attending games en masse. It disappoints me to see a stadium half filled with people no matter where it is. It

Mascot? What? A mascot argument? That's a weak, pathetic argument if I ever heard one. I don't buy it. North American native americans respected birds of prey, the wolf, fox, the bear, the buffalo. They incorporated that respect into their dress and their attributes into their behavior. Totem poles, with some northern tribes, included symbols of Ravens and other tough birds. The native

Words have different connotations. They always will. "Redskins" connotes a reference to fierce warriors? Perhaps, fierce, Indian warrior. Perhaps. fierce native american warrior. Etc. The "Redskin" name doesn't connote a bad actor, such as Raiders or Buccaneers or Pirates. Those conjure thoughts of cutthroats, scoundrels pillaging, plundering, robbing, doing ruinou

I am watching the officials closer now when the Patriots are on TV here. What I'm beginning to see is that they give the benefit of the doubt to them. It reminds me of dissolution of marriage proceedings when the issue of child custody is before the court. The rule in Florida, at least, is all things being equal the court favors the mom. All things being equal, the "Patriots defender cove

Bob Costas spouted talk about changing the name of that Washington football team, the name escapes me....oh yeah, the "Redskins." A native american indian tribe complained about the name being denigrating and wants it changed. Mr. Costas also agrees with it. He used his TV National platform to opine. This topic is on the table again for the team. Costas has been involved with TV m

Crowder, I used to have the radio going while watching the game on TV. The TV satellite and cable delay is out of synch now, and has been for a while. It seems to have gotten worse. At least the local guys know who's who, and don't banter about unrelated matters like the clowns in the national TV both. Gruden and Tirico are really lousy, IMO. Michaels and Collinsworth are probably the best

Crowder52--My family came to South Florida before there was a team. We had a smaller population then and lots of rural, undeveloped property. When the team finally came, there was minor interest. People didn't go to the Orange Bowl to watch. TV coverage was scant too. As time passed, interest grew and when Shula became HC and winning occurred, interest blossomed because it was exciting. Very
