Saw a show on NFL Network saying Leaf WAS biggest bust ever - but Bosworth was No.2. Also, this report puts a slightly different slant on Wichard's insistence that JT visit the Jets, doesn't it?

Not True, JT was ALWAYS a leader. That said, I agree with the rest of your post. All of it.

The coaching staff put him in position to succeed, the fact that he got his hands on so many balls that he subsequently dropped attests to that. They got him open on the sidelines, but he went out of bounds instead of trying to get YAC. Not the coaches' fault.

You might be right, but I doubt it. A professional pass catcher that has two hands on the ball MUST catch that ball. If, after three years of being a starter and doing things like beating Darrell Revis for a touchdown on national television and catching first downs on the sideline doesn't instill in you the confidence to believe that you can do it, maybe you mentally can't. I have been a Ginn fan

Yes, I checked. His jersey isn't on sale, so obviously he isn't going anywhere. They do, however, have the hat that Henne wears on the sidelines reduced from $22 to $3-Goodbye, Henne! or maybe just his head.

Then by all means overlook me and ignore me, but I will continue to call you out when you make a foolish statement.

So-back to the "jersey reduced in price" argument-still weak, at best. Have you ever heard of "inventory control"? And - "the bleacherreport"? Seriously?

So they got Santonio Holmes as a consolation prize? Now THAT'S funny!

Sorry. Post got out of place. The Ginn trade.

Certainly this could happen, but as of right now, your evidence is thin....

I agree, he has taken a lot of sh*t from our fans, but it isn't the worst. Sammie Smith's experience was worse. He was already not very popular, then he fumbled into the endzone two weeks in a row. The next week the fanbase destroyed what was left of his "career". A trade really didn't help him at all. I imagine Ted Ginn has experienced something like that, but I hope it doesn't ruin hi

I just re-watched the Pittsburgh game, and I was astonished by the stellar play of - Jason Allen. Yes, he slipped on one early play and got beat for a touchdown by All Pro TE Heath Miller (footing was lousy that day in JRS), but Allen covered him (as well as Holmes and Ward) well the rest of the way. He knocked down a seemingly perfectly thrown ball in the end zone with no over the top help at al

I'm in the "HATE this trade" camp.

Now that worries me. Cobbs is a sure-handed guy, but he doesn't have the speed to be an good punt returner. I wouldn't use Ginn, either. Has the speed, but terrible hands and poor reactions in a crowd.

This is eactly what happened in the Welker deal. Many are still angry about this deal, but they don't understand it. We really didn't have a choice. We made out pretty well, all things considered. He really wasn't worth a first-round tender.

Maybe the coaches agreed with Mike on this one. How about Clayton, or McDuffie? Not really speed guys, but great hands!

I'm thinking we trade down, get our second back, and take Terrence Cody and a safety. Cody might have been a blob, but he showed me he has the desire and ability to do what he had to do to lose that excess weight, and nobody denies he's hard to move and ties up multiple blockers at the nose. Sounds to me like the definition of a nose tackle, and it would qualify as a surprise.

Check the films. Revis didn't exactly have an easy time of it with Ginn last year. Maybe he's not really a "shut-down corner".

I just saw films of Tebow's Pro Day (I think). This guy has the weirdest throwing motion I think I've ever seen. His throwing motion compared to most QB's throwing motions is akin to Benny Malone's running style compared to most running back's styles.

Well, I was going to say that its not illegal in this country to own a gun, but to try to take a loaded gun on board an airplane is just plain stupid. I don't think we need anybody like that for any price.
