Sorry. I didn't mean to be obscure..I think the position you are advocating is CLEARLY the correct one.

What's that got to do with this regime? This will be their third year-and, as we all know, the first was 11-5 and the AFC East crown. That makes one losing season in a row. Are you assuming that next season and the one after that will be losing seasons?

I don't know, past experience shows-from the beginning of this league right up till now-see "Sean Payton"-it is crystal clear.

Do you really think that this guy's a "a legit #1" after ONE solid year in a four-year career? He did virtually nothing but return kicks his first three years in the league.

"POINTS"!?!? What drivel. I thought we were drafting football players.

You're right, he has nothing to gain. This is America, he's entitled to his opinion, and he should have nothing to lose by stating his. He was asked his opinion, and he gave it. Are you arguing that he should not have an opinion, or that he should not excercise his right to express it? Also, it was just a statement of current fact. Read into it what you will.

If Tebow even thinks about subjecting himself to this, he's nuts.

Maybe so, but what happens to David Lee? Do we replace Lee with Pennington, or is Pennington going to be satisfied as Lee's assistant?

Sparano came right out and said that the Dolphins "regret" picking their second round draft choice just last year? WOW!

From what I've read (I'm not a college football fan) this guy sounds like a Lorenzo Booker-type- fast, but smallish.

I liked what little I saw from Kory Sperry. Kid can catch, and he can block for the running game, too. Don't know about passing game, but I'd rather have him out in the pattern anyway.

We weren't going to focus on the OL in any case.

If you look closely it becomes very clear JJ couldn't draft offensive players to save his life, but he had a high percentage of defensive successes. He turned this team from a great offensive team with a suspect defense to a good defensive team with a suspect offense. That seems like a net loss to me.

No, but we do try to listen to the interviews after the game. Did anybody hear the interview with Philip Merling after his big game last year?

I'd like to know why they'd do that? I suppose a WR tandem of Marshall and Edwards might seem like a good idea, but you're talking about two guys with issues that could blow up on you at any time, and both drop a LOT of passes. This sounds like another of those trial balloons everybody floats before the draft.

This may be accurate, maybe not. Sounds like more of the legerdemain common before the draft.

Not the point. Mangini was as colorless as water in NY. Ryan may be a mouthy idiot, but he's far from colorless. Good stories for the press.

I agree, most of them are really ugly, but regardless of how bad they were, I don't think any of them can hold a candle to those world-class ugly uniforms that the Broncos were forced to wear. Those socks were beyond ugly-I saw a poll a couple of years ago in which those uniforms were voted ugliest unis of all time. They were so ugly I think that they were hilarious.

Well, if you know anything about the game, you'd know Bell plays(as stated in the article) STRONG safety. If you watched the games, you'd know that on running downs they bring him up to the LOS to play as another linebacker. You do that with your hardest hitting DB, so its logical to assume he hits particularly hard. Poetic license to describe it as "hitting like a truck", but it is an

He better figure out how quick, because If he doesn't there's a good chance he'll kill himself. Under certain circumstances, this surgery can be dangerous.

Sorry-I took a little poetic license. The stats show he is an effective tackler, and safeties are historically hard hitters. Watching him, I believe he is one.
