I was totally astounded that no NT was taken on Sat. After the hijinks (read: suspensions) of last year, I didn't think these coaches had much faith in Paul Soliai. I was surprised when the Patriots jumped in front of us to take Ron Brace, seemingly with an eye to denying his services to us, as they will probably get several more years production out of Vince Wilfork after re-signing him. Maybe

Brothers, not brothers-in-law.

I see NFL.com is looking for the best player brothers in NFL history. The consensus seems to be Eli and Peyton Manning in first place, and I guess I can't disagree with that, and there are some other deserving brothers on the list, but somebody suggested that the Zendejas brothers and the Gogolak brothers should also be on the list. I'm not sure that I think kickers-of any era- qualify as "p

BPA seems to be the best strategy to me, but I disagree that we didn't NEED to draft Jake Long last year. Having the first pick in the draft tells me that the Trifecta, having their pick of ANY player in the draft, decided to take Jake because not only was he one of three or four players that were considered to be very close in talent (REGARDLESS of what we know now) in last year's draft, but he

This game is no more than an afterthought anyway, so who cares? Used to be that players got a good payday out of it, but salaries have escalated so much that the money paid to a player for playing in this game is not significant. The starters don't make enough money to joepardize their careers, so they bow out and lesser players still hungry for recognition get to go party for a week and then play

All of these 'mathematical possibilities' are completely unimportant. At this point, just overcome the obstacles in front of you. Our team is lucky enough to be able to control its own destiny, so do it. Control what you can control, and don't worry about the rest of it. P.S. Draftniks, relax. The draft will be here soon enough. Now - concentrate on a winning(!) team.

Well, EXCUSE ME!!! I just happen to love the idea of the jets losing out on the playoffs to us. That's my point.

I believe this to be true. The affiliate here in West Palm Beach chooses to carry every sold out Dolphins game, but it is clear that they could carry any other game they have access to if they wanted. We almost had to watch the Jests last week.
