Sanchez's Wonderlich score was leaked at being 28 which was labelled as "respectable." However Matt Stafford was at 38. I just don't think a lot of Sanchez's choices were too brilliant today. It didn't seem like a lack of skill or arm strength that led to the interceptions. It seemed like he was looking and simply made bad decisions to throw the pass. There was one pass i

My point was that the Division title was the quickest way and that it would be very difficult for us to lose one and still get in. Your scenarios above I think prove both points. Moreover, I think if we lose another one and one only, it will much more likely be to the Steelers than New England.

Phinsfan2, the simplest scenario is us winning the division. Relying on a wildcard spot, like winning the division, is basically predicated on us winning the rest of our games since the Pats have a 2 game lead on us and even if we beat them, they will have a 1 game lead on us. Therefore, assuming we beat the Patriots, they need one more loss and we not to lose anymore games. Your scenario

Fahcue2 is right on the Henne thing. I don't see it helping him. With the wildcat, it took the pressure off him to produce first downs all the time. Old vets like Manning and Brady can carry the team on their passing game alone but for a young guy, it is best that he develop and get his confidence before the whole pressure of producing the first downs is on the passing game. However, all I

Ronnie is a fast horse. Ricky is a thoroughbred. It shows when they run. Ronnie can go miles if his hole is wide open. Ricky can make yards around and over people. Ricky has more moves and more power. Ronnie's only advantage is speed but he lacks the power and the moves of Ricky.

Well, NFL.com has Belichick refusing to say he would do the same thing if he had it to do over again. I assume that question was "Assuming you would not NECESSARILY get the same result, would you do it over again?" and he refused to answer. Of course, even the stupidest person in the world would not do it over IF THEY KNEW the result would be the same. So, when somebody asked y

Panteraize, SamSam and steviec13 had it right. It had nothing to do with strategy. It was pure hubris and arrogance. He did it simply because........he thought he could. Is the media saying that Brady may have talked him into it? I dunno because Brady looked pretty pissed on the sidelines afterwards. But the same thing that has this jerk with his first team in late in the game trying t

As I said before, our best chance is to go as Division champs. If we beat New England and Buffalo and New England suffers one more loss, as long as we THEN keep pace, we win out in case our records tie. Carolina Jacksonville, Tennessee, Houston and the Steelers is what we have left after those division games. New England's remaining schedule includes us, the Jets and Bills and Carolina,

As Keith Jagger said in a song "You can't always get what you want," "And I went down to the demonstration To get my fair share of abuse." Well, it is only fitting that having rooted for the Patriots tonight for the sake of the keeping the Colts from spoiling the 72 Dolphins perfect record, that I come back to this website to get my fair share of abuse. In the end, you

I think this is a younger versus older thing. I am older. I hate the Patriots. But I hated the Colts under Bert Jones. I hated the Jets under Joe Willy Namath. I hated the Bills under O.J. Rivalries come and go and change but one thing remains and that is 17-0. Yeah, there may be other perfect seasons but in modern pro football that is it. We aren't on this board because we are co

Well, one thing that the Boilers have in common with the Dolphins is that the Refs f_ck us in every way. Every pass interference committed by Mich. State was not seen as that big a deal. Every ticky-tack touch by the Boilers like blocking in the back was called. One sided calling.

New England or Indianapolis Reason to vote for Indianapolis. As of yet, if we beat NE in Miami and tie their record at the end of the year, We win the division by reason of a better division record and a split with the Patriots. Reason to vote for New England. Our worst nightmare would be an Undefeated Indianapolis facing an Undefeated New Orleans in the SuperBowl. This may be one of

Posted by: Doug-THE-Dolfan () Ginn is a very good return man - a commondity the team cannot afford now. RESPONSE: He is somewhere between "a very good return man" (like you say and a "great return man." He is, in other words, a very, very, dangerous weapon. That kind of weapon is one which you can ill afford to simply give away. Used properly, like I still say,

Yeah, that push-off NO-CALL is the kind of call for a penalty on the other team that we never get but let one of the Dolphin player's foot get tangled with the other receiver and out comes the flag.

Okay, 3:27 seconds left in the third quarter and you are the Patriots trailing Miami 17-16. You score a touchdown (Now 22-17). Okay, PhinsFan2, do you HAVE to go for the 2 point conversion then? Certainly, you could kick the extra point. Be up 23-17, 2 field goals. It's really hard to follow how you apply your "when you have to" philosophy. Had the Patriots missed the 2 point

Here is the problem with dropping Ginn from the receiving situation. The view from OUR perspective of fans DEMANDING an end to his inconsistent performance is not the same perspective as the OPPOSING COACH OR TEAMS. It's like someone in your family who is a screw-up may not be viewed as a screw up by the other team but just unlucky. I would venture that if an opposing coach did not give due co

Montequi: They have always talked about Bess's ability for runs after catch. I'm just going on that. I could be wrong. YourMama: You are right about the fact that we seem susceptible to fumbles. However, you can't run a team on the assumption that you can't hold on to the ball. With a weapon like Ginn, you've got to do something to keep them from all out keying on him. YOu said "

16919. You Know
Why haven't we seen Ginn and Bess on opposite sides of the field criss-crossing each other on kickoffs? It's pretty obvious that the NFL has stood up and taken notice of Ted Ginn, Jr. returning the ball on kickoffs and are either kicking away from him or keying on him. Now the obvious thing to do is let him get the kickoff and criss cross Bess and that would give kickoff teams fits. If t

I can't believe that this post exists. On that very drive someone dropped AN EASY pass that would have not put us in a position to have to go for it on 4th down. The pass that went to Ginn was high and fast. Could he have caught it? Yeah. Could you call it a drop? No. There are drops and there are misses. You had better go looking earlier on that same drive for a drop. You can miss
