Though I prefer my team's players let their play do the talking, this was at least creative!!

One of the reasons I still have a soft spot for Welker. Now instead of the Ty-D-bowl man we now have the Rex-e-bowl man!!! Though they both hang out in the same place!!

The only way I would look at him is if one of our guys gets injured. I don't believe he is looking for cash, he had that in Buffalo. I think he wants to play in Houston so he can be home. I think the other teams are being floated out there so that Houston will at least think they have to pay a reasonable amount to get him.

The safety is supposed to be the guy

The only thing that Ginn did at Ohio State was run as fast as he could and see if the ball ended up in his hands. I screamed when we spent a first round pick on him because he was at best the second best receiver on his college team (Anthony Gonzalez being the other)

The human body was never designed to take the abuse that the NFL dishes out. There is the rare body that can take it and go the distance, just like some smokers live to be 100, but the usual result is a much shorter life. I do think the steroid use is going to make this even worse than the earlier reults. Add in the increased size of the players and the increased force of the hits and you have a

I've never seen a kid (Lane) ride a father's (Monte) name further into the ground. Is it just that everybody feels so bad about not giving Monte a chance over the years that they all try to make up for it by giving Lane a chance even when he really has never done much of anything??

Looks like I jumped the gun on this one.....As long as you are waving money in front of him, he follows the game plan, the instant anyone asks him do something for someone other than the man writing the checks, well that just isn't going to happen.... You are allowed to have attitude after you get a couple of thousand yard receiving seasons under your belt, till then, carry the pads rookie!!

With all the quotes, it would really take a lot of balls to fake this one. He was going to miss half the season anyways so it is not that big of a hit, though it would have been nice to have him come in midway through with a fresh set of legs!!

Wow, an unbiased analysis of our defense. I don't think there is a thing there that anyone on this board can argue with.

Dear Lord is he lying through his teeth!!! Total BS that he didn't talk to Alabama beforehand, he is just covering his arse because it would have been a major violation of his contract!! All he had to say was "Next Question" or " I am the coach of the Miami Dolphins" when asked, he did not have to say "I'm not going to be the Alabama Coach" When he did that, every

McDuffie was a big boy, and could have said he wanted a second opinion or he could have gone through the union if he felt he was being threatened. Then he had his agent... who is supposed to be looking out for him. All in all, I think for the most part OJ is to blame, followed by the doc, and then in last place, Jimmy, though I am not his biggest fan either.

It is a totally nomadic lifestyle that these guys have chosen. I'm all for making sure that people are free from discrimination and abuse in the work place, but this is like a political canidate wanting to unionize. These guys are running for "office" as head coach, if you don't like slugging it out in the minors, don't aspire to be in the major leagues.

I think anything from 7-9 to 11-5 are reasonable prediction at this point. Anyboy outside of this range is either a bright eyed optimist, or even more pessimistic than I am, and that is hard to accomplish

If you could go back in time and WERE FORCED TO DRAFT ONLY EITHER PAT WHITE OR JAMARCUS RUSSELL to run the Wildcat, who would you pick??? I would take JaMarcus on a Bill Parcells, Sparano team where he would not have been allowed to get away with the crap he pulled in Oakland.

No, it went 500k then 100k then nothing. 90% of the way through the report I was envisioning a couple that simply drove each other nuts and went after each other. One horrible relationship where you two had the whole love hate thing going on and she pulled a knife on him and he took her back, and he knocked her down and she took him back, that is just a disfunctional couple. Then the thing about

Barry Church out of Toledo, yes I am from there and graduated from there, did not get drafted and is available. This guy hits like a brick and has good if not great instincts. One way or the other, since we managed to avoid getting Earl Thomas, yes I am sore about that, we need to do something.

I guess it was my kool aid consumption that led me to giving a C in the other poll. Seriously, I still can't get my head around the moving down in the 4th round part of the San Diego deal. The 12th should have easily been worth the 28 and 40 alone. It was a deep draft, but not that deep. About the cash, the 12th isn't going to be that much more than 28, vs. say 1 vs. 12. I just don't see the home

Seriously!!! If you are going to do a press conference, at least make sure you have your stats straight!!! As with everything, time will tell about these choices, but.....I am really starting to wonder about what is going on in Dolphinland.

Seriously, 12 was only worth 28 and 40 and along the way moving back 16 places in the 4th?? I would still have rather had Earl Thomas unless they totally pull a rabbit out of a hat.

Anyone who has any respect for those that they work with does not tell them to forgo their agent and just "sign this". JT came back to play for next to nothing, he produced, and then was told gee why dont you just keep playing for nothing. I hate to say it, but I have a very bad feeling that a motivated JT will make life more than a little rough for Mr. Henne during our two games this y
