I like the way Revis plays....I wish he was a corner for us.....but I do not think he can cover Marshall....I don't even think Madison and Surtain could have competed with this monster.....AND HE IS OURS!
I think Marshall is geared to compete for the "best in the league" title this year. Like he said...he is working on honing his skills...something he has never done before as he just relied on natural ability.
One think about the Dolphins staff...they get the most out of their players and are really good at execution.
Personally I don't think Revis or anyone can cover Marshall for a full game. Even if they do, one of our other receivers will have a huge day.
Guys, Marshall is not the second coming. Dam good WR but we need better QB play and better play by the OL. Ball has to be spread around.
One thing I know. Marshall has always been a team player in Denver. Only once has he confronted the Coaches and he learned his lesson. No doubt someone got to him and straightened him out.
I see him doing good things this year but not everything.

Come on man your second love for the Broncos is disgusting, not the second comming.... Sounds like a bitter Denver fan.

Marshall isn't the 2nd coming I agree but he's damn good. Real damn good. I think his 100 catch days are behind him because Miami is still a RUN-1st team. But Marshall is the real deal.
Next offseason (god willing there is one) I really do hope Miami looks to add another big play WR. Someone who can be a burner. Move Hartline and Bess to 3rd and 4th WR's. Really open up this offense. I still say that big play burner is the missing piece on offense.
Hartline has the speed to be a burner, and he had a fantastic rookie year, and you dont think he will be a solid compliment to Marshall??
Is it because he is white? Because thats the only thing I can think of why somone would hate on him, he was 24th overall with YAC, and caught some NICE pass's, had 4 td's with over 500 yards on just 31 catchs!! as a rookie.
So I mean what can it be?? I dont see to many 4th round wr's putting up thoughs kinds of numbers on a run first team. with a ton of injuries?

oh my god, now we are playing the RACE card? Are you serious?
Nobody hated on Hartline. But he is a 4.5/40 guy and wanting someone with some more speed isn't hating on anyone. Saying I want a better #2 WR is hating now??? Please.
EXACTLY!!! Give me a Desean Jackson type who can run a 4.35 and has ability. That type of guy who can open up an entire offense. ESPECIALLY if you put him next to an elite #1 WR like Marshall!!
That is what the offense lacks. Bess and Camarillo are little slow guys with great hands. Hartline is a bigger guy with loads of ability. We need a speed guy with ability!! Open up the middle of the field.
Thank you Phins fan I appreciate your enthusiasm, but he has run away from some Cb's last year.
You never know, but we will see this year, Ginn was phenominal speed, but he couldnt catch, Hartline isnt as near as fast, but he caught alot, and had one heck of a YAC statistic.
