i think he means by not holding out and making a big scene and being a huge diva. HE got the contract done and is going to show up to camp workout and be the good boy the league wasn't expecting.

I agree, alot of talk when it came to Dez Bryant, was the people he surrounds himself with, decision making etc. With Eugene Parker his agent, the Agent who orchestrated the Crabtree holdout, just last year. Parker and Bryant were both getting bad press about the speculation, he had hold out written all over him, especially since he dropped to the twenties. I think they made it a point to be the first, 1st rd pick to sign a contract this year. It was good for both Dez Bryant and Eugene Parker's image and reputation in respective fields... Sports Agent and Rookie Diva Reciever..
Didnt take long for him to get some bad press, ESPN reporting Dez Bryant got into it and refused to carry Roy Williams pads today at practice as a part of Rookie Hazing. Dez said he was here to play football not carry someones pad. Doesnt sound like much of a team player from this report, Vets that did carry pads are not going to like Dez thinking he is to good to do it...

He said if he were a FA he wouldn't have to carry someone elses pads. He isn't a FA he is a Rookie. That's what Rookies do. That just goes to show me what kind of person he is. A self centered one.
Looks like I jumped the gun on this one.....As long as you are waving money in front of him, he follows the game plan, the instant anyone asks him do something for someone other than the man writing the checks, well that just isn't going to happen.... You are allowed to have attitude after you get a couple of thousand yard receiving seasons under your belt, till then, carry the pads rookie!!
Eh, i cant say much about this when i was a freshman in HS all the other freshmen myself included refused to do the bitchwork for the upperclassmen. And everyone ragged on us for it. But my senior year we became the only team in CWL history to win our district, then the first to win a post season game, then the first to make it to the state champs.
My point being that we didnt do the bitchwork, we just worked on our game, got good, and became great.
