I understand how you feel jsm, but this conversation is not about feelings, it was meant to be a cold hard and objective discussion of what a “company” stuck in this situation has to do to protect its product. The National Football League has employees that possess a skill set that statistically .000005 percent of the US population possess. They can’t fire their 1,700 “employees” and ex

Treasure, I’m bummed for you that you didn’t get to watch our Dolphins smash the Jets in spectacular fashion due to your boycott of the games.
Ironically, you are helping their cause in an indirect way. The more NFL fans that feel as you do and follow your lead by not watching the games, the more you hurt the teams and the league financially. So let’s follow the logic of cause and effect

What a powerful and eloquent description of the sacrifices our soldiers in uniform have made to protect the freedom that Americans have to exercise their rights to protest whatever they feel compelled to protest, in whichever manner they choose to. Every fallen soldier is an unmovable brick of a wall built in protection of the constitutional rights and freedoms guaranteed to our citizens. Every t

Veterans are pushing to have Dolphins games pulled from being played in their lounges? If that's true then it's a damn shame those veterans have no idea what they were fighting for. In this country we have rights and freedoms that others do not, like the right to protest. If you don't like the rights and freedoms that our soldiers have died to protect then go to North Korea where they cut off peo

Bye treasurecoastphinphan! Now you can leave the team like you promised. How are you all grown men? These posts read like they've been written by children with black and white worldviews and no critical thinking skills. Samsam I completely agree with you, "if you don't like the way things are in America then live somewhere else." This is America and we have freedoms which include the ri

Treasure you're missing the point completely. I'm not saying what I said from a point of outrage at the incident itself. I'm thinking purely from a public relations standpoint. I'm talking about how our team, our locker room, our coaches, our GM are all viewed by the league, the media, the entire country. Its not about the incident, its about the horrible aftermath. The blow up. No matter who we

I am literally speechless. That might be the single stupidest thing I have ever seen or heard that an athlete has ever done. Not the worst, but by far the stupidest. I have literally never said "I don't want that player on my team" because of something a talented player said or did. But I read this, my jaw dropped and then I thought "get him off the team".
You literally ju

You're a TRIPLE XL Chyren??? I'm 29 years old 5'7 and 155 pounds. I think I'll be stepping lightly both figuratively and literally when arguing with you on this board in the future.

I love the idea!
I watched the play and didn't even think it was that egregious. He didn't make any contact and actually side stepped at the last minute, like he thought better of it. That said, he knew what he was doing. What if it was a game winning TD return. If the coaches, assistants, or whoever know that if they actually try to pull something like that and it could save the game for the

The defense was on the field for an eternity. The group whose play was most affected by this was our Linebacker core and then possibly our safeties. TONS of terrible whiffed arm tackles. It was embarrassing and it really hurt us on a number of plays that went for big yards that should have been stopped at the LOS or right around it. The D-line looked like they only got better and the corners play

"If the passer loses possession of the ball while attempting to recock his arm, it is a fumble."
RT never recocked his arm. This was no tuck rule nonsense, which is now removed from the rule book. And again I bring the same questions. Please refer me to a single play in NFL history when a QB launched a ball 12 yards forward at the peak of his extended throwing motion and it was consi

samsam,
Please refer me to one single play in the history of the NFL where a fumble travels forward 10 yards after the ball leaves the QB's hand immediately after the QB has gone through a full throwing motion and has his arm straight at the point of release.
I don't care if the ball wiggled two inches in his hand while his grip was disrupted. The ball did not leave his hand until he comp

Here are my thoughts:
Two "since when" questions regarding the Tannehill "fumble"...
1. Since when is a fumble thrown forward 12 yards?
Yes the ball was unsteady in his hand after the hit, but unfortunately for Indy, RT launched the ball 10-12 yards forward. He doesn't need to be gripping the laces with white knuckles. All that matters is he launched the ball forward

God this is like watching the Patriots. Somehow, miraculously, though never surprisingly like its the freaking patriots, Alabama gets these ridiculous breaks in the form of a pair of grossly and plainly incorrect calls within the first 5 minutes that basically break ND in half before the game even has a chance to develop. That bull$hit second touchdown that Alabama got is a complete figment. That

This game was the first legitimate loss we've been handed this season since the game against Houston in week 1. We played like garbage. Tannehill wasn't terrible (couple key passes overthrown) no turnovers, but Luck was absolutely phenomenal.
I was almost more impressed with his Marino-like 6th sense about the rush and sublte shifting in the pocket to avoid it than anything else. We let the k
