Can someone post an article where it talks about Ajayi and Landry, specifically, not doing what they're supposed to do? This is news to me. Looks like the O-line (and Jay Cutler) were our worst offenders.

This was a horrible trade! If the best you could get for Ajayi was a 4th, then why trade him? Easily the 2nd best player on our team. We had better get something decent for Landry!

I wish we could do with Campbell what Dallas did with Jason Garrett (not that I'm saying that Jason Garrett is a good coach). They realized that Garrett wasn't ready to be a HC, so they brought in a guy who was ready (Wade Phillips) and let Garrett learn for a few more years and then put Garrett at HC. Don't be sidetracked by the fact Wade Phillips shouldn't have been pushed out or by the fact

I was just informed that Dion Jordan's suspension was lifted due to the new drug and PED substance abuse policy signed on Wednesday, but then Dion was popped again after that policy took effect. Bleacher report said he'd be out through Oct. 19th (our game with CHI). Are you kidding me??!! trade trade trade trade trade! Is this a knee-jerk reaction from me... Absolutely!

Joe,
Be careful, or you're going give me some unbridled optimism. Didn't know about our O-line's coach prior success. Of course, he also had better RBs, but I do believe that a RB's success is based more on the O-line than his own ability.... so we'll see.
Move Charles Clay back to FB and run I-formation. Bam!

hahahaha
Didn't we excommunicate this guy when we got embarrassed by the Ravens in that playoff game? I just remember Ngata throwing him around like a rag doll! haha. Hopefully, he's gotten better since then. Dolphins were so mad that they straight up traded him for whomever the Raider's Center was straight up!

ChyrenB,
Thanks for the positive thoughts and prayers. Thankfully, the pass rate is much higher than that now. haha. I paid over $2K for a bar prep course. It costs about $1K just to sit for the exam itself. The BAr is too expensive to fail!
Joe Football,
I like your input. I think the league has under-valued Big Ben since Day 1. Also, how do we even begin to try and rate Eli Mann

yeah, I guess wanted to see Odrick start, but if Mitchen is better (and for $4M he should be) then we're looking really good in that department.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Does anyone think that Odrick is ready to start now that Solial will be leaving us? We had high hopes when he was drafted. I think he did alright in backup duty last year.

I remember that Captkoi. That was crazy. I remember the announcer saying that we didn't have anyone left on the bench if one of these guys got hurt. lol.
Remember when the O-line used to be an after-though... yeah, O-line is def. the most important aspect of a football game now. Just ask the 95' Cowboys and Emmitt Smith how much they loved their O-line!

@Dolphaholic, It's my best pickup line! haha j/k
@JC, I've met quite a few Dolphins fans up here. And they're all die-hard fans too. More loyal than a lot of those guys down in Miami.

Austin Collie on a 1 year deal for the league minimum would be nice.
How much do you think Lloyd would command? He doesn't have a job so I would expect him to play for anything.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Coming into this season, I thought the Dolphins were going to release Patterson because there is no penalty, and then re-sign him to a more economical deal. I didn't think we would keep him at that cap number. I wonder if this is really the plan. I wonder if other teams even have him on their radar.
Also, I hope that we go into the season with 10 OL. I've seen Steelers seasons go down the

First of all, I just wanted to say hey guys, I'm back! (as if any of your knew I was gone!... or even who I am. lol) This discussion board is definitely the best. When I first started reading threads here, I was at West Point. Then throughout my 5 1/2 years on active duty and in Afghanistan, I would check in from time to time to keep up-to-date on Dolphins news and get the real scoop. Now, tha

Where are my posts?.... Seriously.. we blocked the kicked, but we had called a time out! wild. that sux... Coaches.. stop doing this.

BTW... living in CT, I don't get to see Dolphins games unless they're playing against Jets, Patriots or Giants... nice to be able to watch them. Here's hoping that they win this thing.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I hope we keep both.
I was very happy when we picked up Lamar Miller after he fell in the draft.
Get rid of Daniel Thomas after this year.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I"m watching the GameCast... what was that 26 yard pass interference penalty on Marshall to setup the score... was he just burnt and then grabbed on?
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
How is Randy Starks getting through for those sacks... can't watch the game. Nice work.
from the stats, it seems that Reggie Bush is looking good.
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
Can't get the game where I am. So, I'm paying attention to the stats...
Randy Starks has 2 sacks already! Is he just that much better than lineman over him, or are we doing some creative stuff on defense?
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
I actually think Philbin had something to do with this... I bet he was not pleased at all with Vontae's conditioning and work ethic and told the GM that we didn't need him..
GB built their defense from the draft.. That's what Philbin probably wants to do... We're in this for the long haul. Have to stay positive and Coach do his thing. Its going to be a hard-knocks season.
for the record,

Well, if this is a rebuilding year... then we've started in the right direction. This is how I would do it if I were GM/Coach and this is what the dolphins have done.
1. Franchise QB (We have that)
2. Offensive Line (Think back to 3 years ago... line is def. better now.. and have 3 young studs in Long, Pouncey and Martin)
3. RB committee (we're working on it, I would say its young and soli
