RT looks decent so far.

Defense just got balls lucky with the replay and missed FG.

Maybe they can use it as momentum.

Btw anyone see sanchez's idiot interception already?? Tebow will be in soon enough hahahah

Can't get the game where I am. So, I'm paying attention to the stats...

Randy Starks has 2 sacks already! Is he just that much better than lineman over him, or are we doing some creative stuff on defense?

How is Randy Starks getting through for those sacks... can't watch the game. Nice work.

from the stats, it seems that Reggie Bush is looking good.

Starks has been a beast and is making great plays with hard work. Nothing fancy.

Too many tipped balls for offense tho. Miami should be leading this game and two picks from tipped balls is the difference now.

Defense has definitely stepped up since the beginning of the game although they keep letting Johnson and Daniels run free. Seems like a matter of time before they pop one.

Not really, the phins look much better than last year. Maybe not personnel wise, but the coaching is noticeably better. Time management is done right, unlike under the guidance of that bumbling fool baby-t, time outs are taken where they need to be taken. I'm encouraged. However, I still think we should all raise money and buy the team off Ross, and fire Ireland.

Philbin looks ok to me so far!

I"m watching the GameCast... what was that 26 yard pass interference penalty on Marshall to setup the score... was he just burnt and then grabbed on?

Was a legit pass int call.

Wheels are completely off the bus now. Thomas fumble texans ball. The texans will score again and go into halftime with scoring at least 20 points in last two minutes of the half all because of turnovers.

Time to change the channel. Thank god for Sunday ticket

For what it's worth... Jeff Fisher and the rams push the lions to the brink with 17 rookies on his roster.

Besides Bradford, what "real" talent does the rams have?

Does Fisher bring an element of experience, perhaps even drawing Manning to Miami?

I've got nothing but gut wrenching anger for what Miami looks like right now, so this is why I'm what if'ing.

What else can I bitch about... Marshall has a statistically comparable game to Johnson today with 9 catches, 119 yds, and a TD. How did Johnson look against Miami today? What would you give to have the production that Marshall brings? And yes, he had some drops. So did Andre.

Fact remains.. Marshall so far for the day is leading the receivers statistically and Miami dumped him because they're not equipped to handle players with high maintenance personalities.

One last one... Here's one that'll piss everyone off either positively or negatively.

Miami legitimately could've had Brandon Marshall, Devon Bess, Chad Johnson, and Randy Moss all on an active roster for relatively low cost against the cap.

Sounds like a diva nightmare, but imagine defenses against that? Who do they shut down?

Are you kidding? We'd shut ourselves down. We'd have to build a separate locker room for BM, CJ and RM only.

randy moss---washed up, no good
chad johnson---see moss
bess---already got him
marshall---much better than what we have but we had him and still sucked

so I imagine it wouldn't have made much difference

so far in the first quarter, Moss has more yardage receiving than Miami's #3 & #4 receiver, so call him washed up, he still attracts attention. Much more than Nanee gets.

Didn't get to see what CJ could actually do because he didn't really get a chance. He got cut because Miami can't handle him.

Marshall in fact did not suck in Miami. He was their leading receiver a year ago. Nearly double the receptions and yardage than that of Bess.

And yea, Miami still has Bess... their #3 or #4 receiver 2 years ago, slot receiver at that, is Miami's #1 threat?

Call em all washed up.. but defenses would be killing themselves trying to defend those receivers.

Granted it would be a pain in the ass managing them all on one team, but can anyone argue that there's something to lose? Does anyone on Miami's current roster show any more promise than these 3 other receivers right now?

Say yes and you're a damn liar and you know it.

As I type this, Moss scores a TD and now has more TD's than any receiver on Miami's roster at this point, and almost as much yardage as Bess or Hartline had the whole game. SF game only in 2nd quarter.

Are you really gonna say that every other team somehow can figure out a way to manage these "divas" except for Miami?

That's a BS excuse used by people with egos too large to figure shit out rationally. Easier to dump someone rather than figure out a way to make it work because it's simpler, so sacrifice production in the name of simplicity.

Man I got this new Ferrari but it's a pain in the ass to shift and start. I think I'll trade it in for a Hyundai because it's an automatic with a Keyless ignition. Good rationale.

yes compared to what he currently have all these bums would be an upgrade. But that just says we stink, not that signing a bunch of 34+ year old WRs is the right move. Were you aware that TO is also available? Add him to the mix---we'd be unstoppable! In 2007.

TO is 37 or 38. That's a vast difference from 33 or 34 year old Moss or CJ and lightyears away from 27 year old Marshall.

And since it is an upgrade from the bums miami has, why in the hell wouldn't they even try? They certainly aren't making a helluva lot more than the shit roster at WR that Miami has now, yet they are performing circles around them... literally.

Why the hell not??? Even if he's hurt and can't run he's more effective than the wr's on Miami's squad now short of bess

but instead we signed "cold tub and cigaretts" injured right tackle whose name escapes me, and who retired 2 weeks later. Good one Ireland!

The only reason that Marshall had so many yards was because the crybaby demanded the ball, and Moore constantly targeted him. Did these yards turn into wins? No, possibly because of all the dropped TDs. The year before, Bess and Hartline both had decent stats because Henne spread the ball around more, which was why Marshall didn't like Henne. The offense was more effective with Henne throwing to several receivers than it was with Moore throwing to Marshall.

True, Marshall did not suck. But, he was no superstar and could not be counted on in the endzone.
