Dion Jordan... Again

I was just informed that Dion Jordan's suspension was lifted due to the new drug and PED substance abuse policy signed on Wednesday, but then Dion was popped again after that policy took effect. Bleacher report said he'd be out through Oct. 19th (our game with CHI). Are you kidding me??!! trade trade trade trade trade! Is this a knee-jerk reaction from me... Absolutely!

I never thought this was a good pick to begin with, how the hell do you draft someone that high that wasnt that good to begin with and doesnt play at all. Does the saying to stupid to understand the playbook ring a bell?? shoulder injury my ass.. this kid is an absolute moron that I have zero respect for and should simply just be damn well cut and free up a roster spot. Just another waste..........

This guy needs to reimburse the Dolphins; he's not earned his pay. Get rid of him. He' more trouble than he's worth. Another terrible selection.

Careful, Kelreign, this board has gotten suspicious of old posters who have been away for awhile and come back and then post anything remotely negative. Ask BNF.

Thanks Ireland.
What can Miami recoup salary-wise or salary-cap wise (if anything) if they:

A) cut him?
cool smiley trade him?

Whichever is best needs to happen.

As far as the entire team is concerned...
I would rather have a player with half the "potential" and twice the heart. Lot of dead-weight standing around. Time to clear some space on the roster for more players with heart.

Outright cutting him is just dumb. He could certainly have value to the team , especially with our depleted linebacker situation. But as Trade value....he has got nothing anymore. Tainted goods. Mentally and Physically. I really wish we had taken Philly up on that deal and put a nice 2nd rounder away. We could have found another lineman , or Middle linebacker with that pick. confused smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Agree, the kid has got talent. He simply needs to get his head on straight. Hopefully he will, and I agree as well that he should give a healthy percentage of his paycheck back.

True, but he still needs to give even more back...say the portion of the signing bonus he got equating to six games or roughly $1,250,782.50 for instance.

Ain't going to happen though.

just wait until the HGH testing begins. Half the league will be suspended.

We could trade him at a "bargain basement price." Let's see, a couple of Bob Griese Super Bowl cards, in mint condition, and a 24 pack of Angel Soft TP might do it. At least the 24 pack would be useful. grinning smiley

I highly doubt Miami could find a trade partner right now, and if they did, Miami wouldn't get much.

Too bad about this guy.

I read where his mother had a drug problem for about 12 years or so. I guess Dion didn't learn anything.

Yep. And we dumped a second rounder to move up to grab this guy. For a position we didn't even need. I bet if you checked the money trail you would see that Ireland worked for the Jets or the Pats......If anyone sees Bill Parcells you need to kick him in the nuts.......

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
