And besides reinforcing what an A hole you are, that proves what? That many more teams kept QB'S and did well.do you really believe......wait for it......
Your making any points except that your an asshole pats fan with no life?
just proving you are clueless, which is really way to easy to do.
here ill give you a hint!!! PERHAPS a QB change might just help!
A few have pointed out that this offense needs a pocket passer, it is established that Tannehill is not that (if anything at all) and that Moore is a pocket passer... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Unfortunately SamSam, he is right. dolphin has been preaching this so much I accused him of being "medical" about it for quite a while.
Maybe he is. It was easy to attack dolphin for Tanny's first two years but now we are in the 4th game of Tanny's 3rd year.
Somebody posted (in another thread) just a picture of Tanny in the pocket,no real threat of a sack and two open receivers......one could see a miss but Tanny actually got sacked, no doubt trying to decide between the two receivers which would he throw to. Result: Tanny got sacked.
Either a) take Tannehill out of the pocket and b) design almost exclusively all options plays for him or c) see the pitiful performance continue.
Or fire Philbin and bring in a completely different offensive scheme.
I mean we've been waiting for Tannehill to get become at least AVERAGE as a pocket passer and .............................
it hasn't happened. Either fire Philbin or continue to watch the ridiculous performance of Philbin trying to force a square peg into a round hole.
Why did we even DRAFT Tannehill unless it was to use him as an RGIII?
Did anyone see that play that was called back where Johnny Football Manziel lined up as a receiver (illegally) and caught a pass????
That so reminded me of Tannehill when he was in college.
Now we expect Tanny to become another Bob Griese. Ain't gonna happen.
Exactly ChyrenB. They are refusing to use his strengths, instead they are trying to turn him into a Dan Marino clone. Just not going to happen. I really hope that Philbin gets replaced before his confidence is destroyed.
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Treasure, some of the people on this board have downtalked RGIII because of his style of play.
They have yawned at Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick and said, "just wait until they get injured like RGIII."
I don't get that bent out of shape because I've been watching Pro football for 50 years since the days when me and my best friend always tried to idolize and imitate Jim Brown.
But football changes and eras pass by.
With the new speed and agility of defensive players, as exemplified by the killer defensive line of the Buffalo Bills, the quarterback who stands back in the pocket and can wait for a receiver to get open, even Mile Wallace or "The Flash" if he were here today is not going to be able to avoid sacks like the old days.
We gotta change or do like this franchise has done before, lag behind the times.
What made Tannehill a top prospect was precisely his athleticism.
Get Tannehill out of the pocket and give him options. That negates the killer defensive line rush.
At the least, it starts the defense to start thinking and thinking takes time and the natural advantage for the offense is that it knows what it wants to do and the defense has to figure it out. In the time it takes to figure it out, the play is often made.
Tannehill stands back looking confused. Sometimes he passes successfully but.................I haven't gone back and looked but you guys with video can, I'll bet the successful Tannehill passes come EARLY and I doubt he has ever thrown a long pass late.
Late in the play, Tanny either gets sacked or there is an incompletion.
Tannehill is best on the move; not trying to be Aaron Rodgers (link Philbin to G or Bob Griese, for that matter. He needs to improvise some, but plays need to be designed specifically for him to roll out and either throw or run (95% throw). His main targets should be Gibson (from the slot) or Clay followed by Miller (or other designated R and then Wallace and Hartline. Alternate Wallace and Hartline from the slot with Gibson to confuse the other team and for better match ups.

BINGO!!! You sir just won a fuzzy bunny.
I've said it from the start , I couldn't believe how fast Ryan Tannehill is and he throws so strong while running with the ball. His bootlegs are second to none. They need to let the eagle in him soar. To see how they are handicapping him is making me sick.
Right, Colonel. A successful series of plays opens up the rest of the play book. But when you keep butting your head against the stone wall, the other team just watches you get dizzy and pass out.
Tannehill is a long strider. Not a quick twitch runner. He still needs to be able to play from the pocket.
That being said, they are still not utilizing his speed.
A major issue is that Lazor is so preoccupied with getting the ball out, Tannehill is pressing and not getting to his #2 or 3 progression because of lack of pass protection. If his #1 option is covered, the play falls apart.
Block better, catch better, call the right plays and we wouldn't be having this conversation. RT is only getting 2.5 seconds to throw the ball. Think about that for a minute.
you guys are talking football instincts of which our qb has none.
Russell Wilson is a scrambling QB. That's different from a running QB like Kap and RGIII. Wilson is a pocket passer with the smarts to make plays with his legs by avoiding the rush or tucking it and running. Think Fran Tarkenton.

Bingo. he has been playing by the seat of his pants since his rookie year.
I totally agree that RT should be in motion more often. We don't need to roll him out every play but at a minimum of once per set of downs, sometimes more, depending on whether we run the ball or not. However, the plays called need to be changed, and/or modified.
The thing that enables Brady to be so effective is that his receivers get open in 3-5 steps. Ours struggle to do that and Lazor calls plays that take 3-4 seconds to develop. That means RT is looking for open receivers in 2-2.5 seconds and they are still working thier routes. Then add to that that our O-Line struggles to maintain blocks for the time it takes to run the routes and it results in RT being under pressure, poor throws, dropped balls due to poor placement and sacks.
If quicker developing plays were called RT would be under much less pressure, he would be more decisive, and he would be more accurate in his throws. All things that help the receivers because they are looking for the ball immediately and the ball is better placed. It would also limit the effectiveness of the oppositions pass rush.
Add to those things, continued improvement in blocking by the O-Line and suddenly Screens start working, the running game improves even more due to increased confidence, and play action opens up.
Then lastly, we need to open games in the two minute offense...and stay with it. We need to keep the tempo ultra fast.
