Nunu is gone and Gabney is in. Not so sure he is a fast receiver, but does (or at least did) have good hands. Should be an improvement.

We are in the middle of the pack, folks, and will remain there until our offense learns how to close out games, and our defense learns how to stop the other team at crunch time. Oh, and if and when our kicker gets his act back together, we will continue to lose those close ones. The problem is, everyone was always on Sparano about kicking FGs....well, this team, thus far, has been attempting a

2646. Freeze
Philbin's timeout to "freeze" the Jets' kicker blew up in his face. Philbin isn't the first, however and won't be the last. But, NFL kickers have been asked if the freeze bothers them, and they have all said no. So, what is the point in calling it? Maybe, just maybe, a "rookie" kicker could get flustered because he has to wait and think about the kick, and maybe the ne

That is why I never got TWC; they could not agree to get NFLN. As it turns out, I got Dish and the price would was a little cheaper than if I had ended up with TWC.

An "elite" WR (may) emerge sometime this year from the college ranks, but who knows? Great WRs can be taken in the 2nd round on, so my choice would be the pass rusher. Have to wait, tho, to see who will be that #1 guy. Of course, Miami could be too far down the draft list to get that guy, but hopefully there will be a few great ones available when Miami's turn comes.

Tanny isn't doing that bad of a job. Marino he 'ain't, and he never will be, but if he can just become the QB the Fins have been searching for forever, then he is OK in my book. This is his rookie year, he needs time. Remember, he doesn't have that much experience to come in with. He is a natural QB and will get better as the season progresses. Next year he (should) show what he is mad

Yeah, the coaches made some mistakes but did it cost the Fins the game? Not in my opinion. Sure, they should have stuck to the running game as that was working well, but they didn't. It's up to the guys on the field to block, tackle, throw, catch, run and defense plays. Lots of breakdowns there. Also, Carpenter missing two field goals. THAT was the real key! Make that first one (that was

Damn right Miami will take any advantage it gets, especially being in the poor shape they are in right now. However, even that injury won't help Miami.

No, because he will cost too much and with him being booted out of two cities, thus far, it tells us something. He is talented, no doubt, but brings problems with him that Miami does not need.

What we all must remember is that Philbin came from a classy, winning, organization - the Packers. It was "do it the Packers way or do it someplace else." Philbin is trying to do the same thing in Miami. Miami has been losers for too many years to count. This team needs to have a house cleaning. Get in line or get out. I have no problem in what Philbin/Ireland are doing.

One of the major problems with Smith has been his inability to hold on to interceptions. He has had many opportunities, but dropped the majority of them. In fact, I believe his first season he had zero ints.
