NE will finish on top of the AFC East. No one else in the division can come close.

Don't be surprised to Landry on the sideline with an injury sometime during the game. He is going to be a target. He won't be hit by cheap shots, but if any of the Fins' players get a clear shot at him, they will damn well take it and make sure Landry remembers it.

I, personally, was never upset Miami took Tanney. I was for it, mainly because Miami had not drafted a QB in the first round since Marino, and Tanney had a lot of positives. If he was Ireland's choice at that pick, I was fine with it, and he was. He is playing well, and hopefully can get even better. Hard to compare Tanney with one HOFer and two more that will be there as soon as they are e

Gaffney has had 3 weeks to get up to speed. If he hasn't gotten it by now..... I don't think Miami can afford to cut Marshall. They are thin at the position and there is no one out there that is worth bringing in (i.e., can immediately play for Miami). Keep him on the roster and activate him as soon as he is ready. Next year is when the cuts begin.

I read the possibility on ESPN Blog. That blog had the pros and cons of the trade. The con is pretty serious. He, along with quite a few other Dolphins players, will be up for a new contract at the end of the season. Can Miami afford to keep their players and pay Bowe, also? Would it be smart to "rent" Bowe for 10 games? If KC were to get draft pick(s) from us, what would they b

I haven't read every article pertaining to concussions, nor do I have the desire to do so, but.... I just don't understand the former players who have filed a law suit against the NFL concerning concussions. "The league knew of the potential for long-term health risks of repeated head trauma....but until recently did little about it." Uhhh.....I do believe the players themselve

In the business world, you are correct, but sports is a whole new ballgame. Many teams have had the number 1 pick in the draft and screwed up; not because they made a bad choice, but because the guy didn't work out or wasn't as good as the whole NFL thought he was. One never knows in sports. Teams do get lucky--think about it. Washington gave up a lot to move up to get RG III. What if

Chyren, I'm talking about the WHOLE season. Miami has a history of depending on other teams to lose to get into the playoffs (when Miami had winning seasons, that is). They need to just take care of their own business (by WINNING). When the season gets down to the last two weeks, then if the standings are so close that someone else's losing vaults Miami into the playoffs, then I will start

I predicted 6 wins (if we were lucky), and it looks as tho that's about where the Fins will be. They still have a lot of growing to do, on both sides of the ball, and that includes the coaches. Tanney is surpassing all expectations, and we can only hope he continues. He is going to make rookies mistakes that will probably lead to losses, but he will learn and get better. Our running

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he screwed up, but on the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me if he has the best draft in NFL history. I just hope his last few drafts pan out where we have starters that play well, and with the 2013 draft, our first pick ends up being that "superstar" we have all been waiting for.

To be honest, I hope that the team could care less about what goes on around them. Just go out there and do your thing; don't worry about what other teams are doing. Miami takes care of their own business and things should work out OK for them. They don't, it won't matter who does what in the division.

Nah, Tanney will not be the next version of Marino; but he will be the next great QB for the Miami Dolphins. No one can be compared to Danny. Hell, Griese is a HOF QB and he doesn't even come close to Dan. Tanney has the mobility, no doubt about it, where Dan could only side-step the big boys (but he was the best at it). Dan had a cannon for an arm and the quickest release the NFL had eve

Yes and no, Chryen. True, it doesn't help that the O turns the ball over in its own territory, but there are other times where the D just has the ball moved right down the field on them, and quite often it happens during those times where if they just get the stop and force the opposing team to give the ball back to the offense, then Miami can wrap up the game and go home with the W. Both s

I see the Fins improving this year, game by game, and that means Tanney is growing. He still has a way to go, but he is doing well, so far. Next year's draft should produce immediate starters at the WR and LB positions, if not CB. Get those positions straightened out, and the Fins will contend. The following year will be the major push for the championship game. Of course, this is al

We can only hope the Fins get the win, but our defensive backfield isn't that good, and with the injuries that they have, it could be a long day. If our front 7 can get good pressure on Dalton, the Fins may have a chance.

Hartline has been a consistent receiver since he joined the Fins, averaging 30 catches per year. That's not bad for a guy who hasn't had a legitimate QB to throw to him. Bess is also helping Hartline's numbers with his expertise in the middle of the field. Watch Bess as he makes his moves; defenders have a hard time keeping up with him. Now, if we can (1) get that top notch, speed receive

My only problem with that is if Miami didn't gain another yard, and they punted, worst scenario would have the Cards starting at their own 20. They would have had about 2 minutes or so left in the game to drive down the field. Miami has a decent defense, but how much confidence would we have that our guys could have stopped them? Right now, I don't have much confidence in either side of

I believe Winslow asked to be cut and NE obliged him because of his injuries. The way NE utilizes their TEs, what other reason is there that they cut him?
