I say Jahvid Best if we can. I think he is Chris Johnson with maybe less power but more moves and almost as much speed.

I have finally come around more fully to the belief that we must root for the hated Patriots. Logic dictates it. In my prior post, I had forgotten to give full weight to the fact that after Houston plays us, they play New England. As I said before, New England has to lose twice and we have to win twice to win the division. I just did not fully take in the fact that Houston is their la

16713. Re: smiling smiley Man
I've already said it before. Our lack of talent may have us playing close games but poor game time coaching is what cost us those close games. You can say all you want that if you have the perfect team, you will win every game but ask the Colts what would have happened if Belicheat had not been so big headed as to go for it on 4th and 2 at his own 28. It makes no sense to say, "Yeah, bu

I see the wisdom in the last two posts. As we used to say in the Sixties "Don't cost that much more to go first class."

It would take an epidemic of moon madness among the NFL ownership for Best to fall below the top 5.

There are two ways of looking at it. The first way is to say if you take away factor A would we be in a better position. My answer to that is that if you take away ANYTHING, fumbles, interceptions, bad ref calls, etc. then the answer is always YES. Therefore discussing the question in the first way is not too helpful. The second way is to say what problem consistently took us out of

There is no third wild card spot. I converted this post from one wherein I had said that in a three way between Miami, Balt and Denver we would take the second spot. I forgot to change the words take the spot. If you throw in Jax, they take second and we lose out since we would only have the third best record.

First, Pats would win the East if they beat Houston. Better record at 10-6 over our 9-7. Will try to answer the rest next.

Would you root for New England to beat the Jags, the safe bet, and then vastly increase our wildcard chances....... or Root for the Jags to beat New England and then have to hope Houston pulls the miracle upset and beats New England giving us the Division championship. I must confess that for me this is a tough one. But I am less of a gambler by nature and kind of.....only slightly, l

But with all due respect to Finman34, you can have a thoroughly incompetent coach like Cam Cameron, Wanny, etc., and just because you upgrade to an average or below average Coach, that does not mean you should fall on your knees and be forever grateful and stop trying to either 1) let the coaching staff know where they have fallen down or 2) make another move to get an even better coaching staff.

In the words of that new movie. I was surprised to see we are not out of the division race yet. They are 9-5 and we are 7-7. If they lose to both the Jags and Houst. They would be 9-7 and if we beat Pitt and Houst, we would be 9-7. We both are 4-2 in the division but they are 6-4 in the conference and we are 5-5. However if it worked out as above, we would be 7-5 and they would

I don't think so, everyone below the division champs could end up with 7 losses next week. The first rule is to break the tie in every one of the four divisions and We in Miami would be the East rep.

We turned the ball over 3 times deep in Titan territory. Add 9 points for 3 field goals and we win the game in regulation going away.

last play of the game touchdown with no time left was probably not a bad thing for us. If we lose to the Steelers two weeks from now we are finished anyway. But we need them to beat the Ravens next week. I wouldn't want them to play next week like they were out of it anyway.
