Should have included but worthy of add it seems the turnover problems have not been limited toone area but has moved around.

1. Early first 3 losses - OL didn't block and Fasano had the fumbles when hit.

2. latter part of the year have been a combo of 3 things:

- Tips - Just a bad luck thing
- RW fumbles
- Picks from Henne, usually when trying to do too much or rushed.

I should say however, that Henne has made many no-throws and used very good judgement in not forcing plays, the mistakes seem to have come when there was pressure but he thought he could make the play

Yes, take away a few turnovers and we're looking at the playoffs, but there were other factors as well. We blew games in other ways, including changing our defensive philosophy in the 2nd half against New Orleans.

There are two ways of looking at it.

The first way is to say if you take away factor A would we be in a better position.

My answer to that is that if you take away ANYTHING, fumbles, interceptions, bad ref calls, etc. then the answer is always YES.
Therefore discussing the question in the first way is not too helpful.

The second way is to say what problem consistently took us out of more games then any other factor and/or what defect ran through out the majority of our failures.

Answering that I would say Coaching. Now, the current crew may be better talent evaluators and better drafters than the Wanny, Cam, regimes of the past.

But they are AWFUL game situation coaches. I still insist they cost us the Rich Camarillo fumble forward game and they cost us the interception thrown by Henne. They fostered a hurry up mentality in game situations when they should have calmed down the players.

They continually broke the momentum of our offensive drive to put Pat White in and justify the stupidity that drafted him in the first place.

No, I don't want to go back to Wanny or Cam but it gets nowhere to say,"Look what we had before them."

I'll say one thing though. I rather have Wanny or Cam calling plays in those games and making game decisions than Henning and Sparano.
