A very studious and intellectual response on your part. Discussing all the issues in meticulous detail.

And let me further explain myself. I'm not without sympathy for wanting to witness sports history. If the 72 Dolphins had lost a regular season game as did the 73 Dolphins which everyone agrees was a tougher team, I would be also saying, "Hey, it would be neat to see some team go all the way to 19-0." But this is against OUR RECORD. It's like having an ancestor by family bl

Actually (R/J) is right, it's a win-win situation. Moreover, what about the fact that Jacksonville will be playing New England soon? Who are you going to root for then, Berkeley223, assuming that Jacksonville beats Indy? Oh, I forgot, you are berkeley with a little B.

If we are tied with them AND ONLY THEM, head to head competition rules and we win out.

Hey, history buffs, help me out. I remember years back on draft day salivating because Randy Moss (who had a "this guy looks like trouble" rep) was falling down to the point we could have picked him at 22. I remember we traded back to something like 28. I also remember some type of trade being made with Green Bay. I went nuts because it meant we effectively passed on Moss too.

So you are not mad that 1) we lost him and 2) he is making all those plays for the Patriots you hate so much? I would think both would make you all the more furious about the old regime that let him leave.

Again, Monte, it is probably because there are more teams tied for that spot (I haven't looked yet) than just the two of us and unless all parties have played each other, head to head doesn't matter.

I think Davis is better but the reason A & O is right is because that BIG BOMB was all Gabril Wilson's fault. He was the safety and he bit on the move. Moreover, he ensured a touchdown rather than a field goal when he interfered on a pass at the one yard line that was too far outside and too hot for the receiver to have possibly caught.

The point is PhinFans2, Welker IS NOW regarded as one of the most valuable receivers in the NFL. That may be due to his coach or quarterback. Sure Bess needs the four years to make a comparison but no one is saying NOW that based on his numbers the rest of the league had BETTER WATCH OUT. Of course, neither did they say that about Welker at this point but it all comes back around to Bess m

I don't think accuracy is a problem. He just needs to grow with experience and grow positively even if we face a rough stretch. It won't help him either if he is now designated the savior to be denounced if he can't produce miracles. He still is leading a team with a lot of deficiencies including more glaring ones on defense. He had the best running game in football until Ronnie went down
