This does not apply to anyone posting above but I can't help but remember, while we're remembering, that I was out of my mind with fury when we got rid of Wes Welker and it seems that the majority of the board was wondering why I would care so much for the loss of this munchkin. Now, he is being talked of on this board as the Gold Standard in number 2 receivers which I thought he was when he w

I have posted 3 threads criticizing COACHING. BUT YOU SAID ON DEFENSE. My criticism of coaching has been on offensive play calling and use of players. The problem ON DEFENSE is that we don't really have any run stoppers and our secondary is inexperience as far as Davis and incompetent as far as Gabril Wilson.

That was what both Reppa and I said in about posts numbers 4 and 5 on the first page, Futt. It's a silly question!

And I'm really talking about today. If you notice, PhinFans2, I specifically commended him for,in EARLIER games, taking the sacks. And your statistics do not also note the number of near picks he threw today. My point is that he seems to be getting away, as his confidence grows, from simply taking the sack and seems instead to be taking chances.

I think the announcers of the game today fully and adequately explained why you can't run the wildcat with Pat White. Their take was that it was not the wildcat failing the Dolphins today but who they tried to run it with.

PhinFans2 Making the playoffs was not involved in this discussion. It was a silly question about whether we would accept a win today (and only a win today) if the price was that the Saints would go undefeated. The reason I brought you into it was that THAT WAS NOT OUR ARGUMENT. It was not the same road you and I went down. However, if you accept berkeley's premise, then I mistook my

Easy way out of the discussion. If you take the SuperBowl out of the equation, who wouldn't want us to win. That's what Reppa and I both answered you with. We said that we would take the win because there was always a chance that New Orleans would lose to someone else. Then you SWITCHED and said, what you meant was that we win but the Saints go undefeated and win the SuperBowl. When

to berkeley223 Speaking of ANSWER your answer to your own question was "yes I want us to win today, screw the 1972 record I'm sick of hearing old guys like you talking about it" SO LET ME GET THIS RIGHT, YOU WOULD ACCEPT A WIN FOR US TODAY AGAINST THE PATS AND IN EXCHANGE WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE SAINTS BEATING US IN THE SUPERBOWL AND GOING UNDEFEATED.........................

That's why I took pains to say that I'm not criticizing him for not making more completions. I'm criticizing him for throwing interceptions when under heavy rush. A lot ot seasoned quarterbacks don't do that. Of course, Brady is just egotistical.

Oh, I forgot, your powers of extrapolation are deficient. Let me say it, I would not want the Saints to go undefeated because that would finish any chances of us winning the SuperBowl. Let me ask you this,WOULD YOU ACTUALLY ROOT FOR US TO WIN ONE BULLSHIT GAME IN EXCHANGE FOR THE SAINTS WINNING THE SUPERBOWL UNDEFEATED. THAT WOULD MEAN A WIN IF THE SUPERBOWL WERE MIAMI vs. NEW ORLEA

That's what we mean when we talked abo
