Goodness -- I thought Al Davis was dead. The best part of the article was the news that Palmer has been working out with former Jets QB Ken O'Brien. Not that Carson was going to have much to do on Hall of Fame weekends any time in the future, but working with that guy can't possibly be an improvement.

On "Mike and Mike" this morning, Mike Greenberg spewed -- excuse me, said -- "Any Dolphin fan with any common sense at all has got to be rooting for the team to lose all their games and get Andrew Luck." OK, Suck-for-Luckers -- is this really the guy you want stating your case?? Keep in mind that Greenberg is a moron and an unabashed Jets fan. (I realize that's redundant a

And I'm sure this ad has been placed in the Miami Herald by now... "Will the teacher who left her pre-school class at Sun Life Stadium please come and retrieve them? They're beating the Dolphins 14-0."

I'm surprised no one has yet pointed out that Henne did not complete a single pass in last night's game

It would go to "strength of victory" as the Dolphins' and Jests' division, common-games, and conference records would be the same. "Strength of victory" would compare the records of the teams the Dolphins and Jests beat, and the tiebreaker would go to whichever team has beaten the better opponents (as opposed to "strength of schedule" which looks at all opponents, r

Nothing is going to happen. If I had a mortgage, I'd bet it on this. The apology was better than I thought it would be. I was expecting something along the lines of "I was defending myself" or "I was just turning away". The Jests won't do anything on their own, because that's the kind of organization they are. The NFL will "look into it" and determine that,

If the Dolphins and Jests finish at 10-6, the Dolphins win the division record tiebreaker if one of the Jests' losses is to Buffalo. Otherwise it would come down to "strength of victory" meani

I don't want to read too much into this. There's something to be said for keeping an even keel and not getting too low after a loss (no matter how God-awful) or too high after a win. On the other hand, if Henne truly doesn't realize that he is, and has been, playing to keep his job, then he probably ought to lose it.
