Oh no. I'd bring Harbaugh in as OC, but last time we hired a hot HC out of college it was Nick Saban. Regardless of the fact that he left, I wouldn't consider Saban a good NFL HC.

How many college HCs have jumped to the NFL as a HC and been successful? You can't compare Harbaugh to Bellicheck. Harbaugh has done NOTHING to justify that comparison. Same goes for Andy Reid.
I hope Ross doesn't cost a draft pick if this move goes through. If he straight up hires Harbaugh before he even cans Sparano and doesn't go through the proper "Rooney Rules" this might get ugly. He could always get a verbal from Harbaugh, can Sparano then "interview" a few more candidates I guess, but that could still be seen right through. Just a thought.
He can fire Sparano at any point, but he should only do that once Harbaugh is ready to sign. There shouldn't be any rules problems. I'm just worried whether Harbaugh can make the transition to the NFL.

The only difference would be that harbaugh had already coached in the pros as opposed to saban.
