Well it's not about going too far, it's about having someone for the rookie to lean on during his first year. Even Marino had Don Strock, who had been around q

He's not, and Philbin will more than likely cut him this week; especially with good old Hard Knocks in progress. Maybe they can bring back Greg Camarillo from Minnesota since there will be an additional roster spot to compete for. That's if

Yes, I don't like eating a sh*t sandwich either but if you look at the menu of available free agent veteran QBs that's what's out there, sh*t sandwiches. If Garrard is done they need to look at a veteran QB other than Matt Moore to stand behind the rookie this season. At least DelHomme has

I guess if it's Curry or Branch then we know Ireland is calling the shots...if it's Upshaw then Ross has told him to go get him. The way things have been running through free agency I'll take Ross's judgement. That's really the Truth.... SEC all the way...

I totaly disagree, I have enough faith in Philbin and his development of Aaron Rodgers that I believe this will work. The kid is going to be working behind two seasoned veterans who have been in the trenches and he has the physical ability for us to finnally have our franchise QB. I think the biggest QB bust in this draft which the future will show is going to be Andrew Luck. When it mattered m

Maybe someone has complex about a guy just because he has a good looking wife. Hell, I have a good looking wife... I'm not going to call the guy names out of the respect for the board rules, but really can we stick to football. At least we know the kid is not going to be roaming South Beach too much and getting into trouble.

If Tannehill, or Blackmon don't fall to us, then possibly Trent Richardson falls to us, in that case I would trade Daniel Thomas and a fourth and try for another second. If not that then take Courtney Upshaw. Did anyone watch Bama/LSU...trust me take Upshaw. If we don't, the Ravens will be all over him.

Dansby will move to the Middle Linebacker spot....Wake to defensive end... Dansby's played some middle linebacker in the past, as well.

They will run the wildcat on short yardage, third down situations in the redzone...and trust me Tebow will score points. I guess everyone has short memories from last year. The Jets did not....he beat them too.

If you pass on Richardson, then you need to pack your things with Ireland and leave town too.

Will it make any difference, ...I think we lose 13 games anyway next year. Only good to come of all this is Ireland will be run out of town. Finally....

138. Re: brees
I'm up in the panhandle here, and believe me I hear all the Saints news. Brees is NOT happy. I really don't think he'll be there after this year. Maybe even sooner. There are probably going to be staggered player suspensions as well. Also the timing was suspect in the way they tagged Brees. Colston was chasing the money, Brees got left on the sidelines. Not a happy camper right now....

Yep, Sparano is gonna use him in the Wildcat. Gonna see Sanchez marched off the field in the redzone, just like Henne was... on the bright side, probably means the end of Greg McElroy as backup... That's the seventh round gem, who used to throw to Julio Jones..we should pick up IF he's released. Proven winner and leader, extremly intelligent, and has the whole Jets playbook in his head.
