Yes but they still have talent on their roster, and a very good QB in Drew Brees. They'll be alright I suppose. The bounties on players well any one heard of James Harrison, and he is still in the league. They don't get much dirtier than intentionally trying to murder a denfenseless player on offense does it. I agree with others on this board this type of thing happens far more than we are led to believe. It's the risk you take for being paid to play a game for lots of money.

It's been reported that Manning wants to stay in the AFC because of his familiarity with the defensive players. I believe that. So, I don't think Washington or Arizona are realistic destinations for him. Plus, for Washington, it would mean him being in the same division as his brother, and I couldn't see him wanting that either.

Some teams may come out of the woodwork, but I think KC and Denver are Miami's prime competition for Manning. The AFC West is so weak that he would clearly make whatever team he went to the overwhelming favorite to win the division.

That would work for me.

I love the idea of RG3 here for the next 12-15 years.

But if Manning is healthy, and everything seems to indicate that he's going to be, then we are a legit contender for the next two or three years with no additions to our roster and we are SERIOUS contenders with a few key additions (FS, RT, TE and pass rusher).

Payton suspended for 1 year.

Williams suspended indefinitely.

Saints forfeit pair of 2nd round picks.

BOOM goes the dynamite.

I can't believe how harsh that is. Totally unprecedented. I bet you the big punishment is for lying to the league during their investigation. Godell won't let you get away with that.

I can garauntee that gambling or any other word that closely resembles that word will ever be brought up in a locker room again. Ever.

Goddell just laid down the hammer and made an example.

Now we are not the only negative talk in the NFL now. I guess there are worst things than doing a bad job as an owner or general manager as far as drafting players and signing players..

You know that old saying there is always someone worse than you.

I keep thinking about the guy that took out Dwight Stephensen and ended his career. That was a cheap shot. I remember hearing rumors of a Jets player being told to go out and INJURE Jim Jensen. Supposedly the guy had too much of a conscience and couldn't do it. He went low on Jensen, but did it slow enough to let him avoid the hit. Rumor was the guy was crying on the field because he couldn't do it. It's sad to think that guys don't have a conscience anymore.
