According to multiple sources, the Jets are eroding. Many players have already started to pick sides between Tebow and Sanchez.

This is very positive for us. If the Jets lay an egg, Ryan and Tannenbaum will be fired.

Tebow (although a great person) will be the ultimate destruction for the Jets.

He needed to go to a place with a concrete franchise QB already in place. Sanchez, Rex, Tannenbaum, and the Jets will crumble.

That's not positive -- the Jets could wind up getting a better coach and GM!

Yeah, you know, I could not think of a worse fit for Tebow.

1) New Yorkers with that Christianity stuff, not a good fit

2) But the Sanchez haters grab on to him

means

3) There will be a disaster no matter how the season plays out.

I followed Mark Sanchez since he was here in California playing for USC.

The guy IS a franchise quarterback!

The difference is that, like all NFL fans today, If he or his team gets beaten by a score of 60-57, instead of putting the blame where it belongs, that is on the defense, the NFL Fan OF TODAY, will blame the quarterback for not putting 61 points on the board.

No coach wants to coach Tebow. It's a circus. You are asking for trouble.

Actually, and unfortunately, Rex may use Tim correctly. Unless Sanchez screws it up, which I am sure he will.

And it begins lol

Cornerback Antonio Cromartie took to Twitter Tuesday when reports began surfacing that the Jets had an interest in Tebow.

"We don't need Tebow," Cromartie wrote. "We sell out every home game. Let him go to Jacksonville, Tampa or Miami."

"Y bring Tebow in when we need to bring in more Weapons for @Mark_Sanchez let's build the team around him. We already signed to 3 year [extension],"

He WILL use him correctly and they intend to use him correctly twice a year on us. I think the Jets will sweep us next year....gonna be interesting reading this board after that.

How much defensive prep time is it going to take now to prepare for defending the wildcat, which we know we're going to see for both Jets games and it aint gonna be skinny as$ Pat White running it on us.

With the loss of Mike Nolan, and the release of our defensive veteran locker room leader Bell...is Kevin Coyle going to be up to the task? Other than being an outstaning pro defensive backs coach what's on this guy's resume that tells us he can stop this...

Then we'd better not use that first pick on a QB and get ourselves a pass rusher in the draft.

As a long time Crimson Tide fan I don't see anything positive for Miami concerning "Tim Freaking Tebow" going to the Jets as a "Red Zone" specialty player.

I would rather him have gone to Jacksonville or St. Louis. Not New York, unless of course he would have been the starter for the Jets.

I can just see Ole Ryan in the bathroom stall tugging away to pictures of feet and cursing like a sailor and taking the Lords name in vein. Tebow will just love that. But after last year I think Rex was really looking to change the culture of the Jets. He might just start hand holding and praying. Watch. Either way I don't see it being very effective over there. I lived in NYC for over 30 yrs. You can not change it overnight.

Rex should of just traded his whole team for Cam then he would have instantly been a super bowl contender right Aqua.

Despite all of Tebow's positive commentary about going to the Jets, I don't he's going to be comfortable there. The brash coach and the media attention, will really test this guy and the players around him. Sanchez will be upstaged by his mere persona. The cry will be for Tebow to start and for the excitement and winning to begin in NY. He will divide the team and Jets fans and it will not be pretty.

Contrary to what many of you might say to the contrary, Tebow IMO would have put pizazz back into our lifeless franchise. Garrard won't be able to do it.

I think pizazz is the last thing this franchise needs on the field. It needs to win and win consistently at a high level for the long term.

With all due respect for what Tebow has accomplished at the collegiate level, he just isn't the answer at this level.

Yes, I know he 's 9-7 but it's a really weak 9-7. He's the NFL equivalent of a baseball pitcher who killed it in the minors and then lucks into 15 wins his rookie year with a 5+ era.

I actually think the Jets FO thinks Tebow may help the locker room stuff by giving it some credibility and good work ethic.

In the process however some distain by Sanchez. Guess what, sanchez needs motivation, so ... seen as no problem.

It will put fannies in the seats for Miami, and Jacksonville games so - they are okay with it.

They need a distraction from all the crap they have created from Ryan.

Distraction/Ryan= BINGO! Nail /head .

Tebow is a smokescreen to make fans forget last seasons meltdown.

We need to follow the Pats Formula on how to shut him down. Hopefully after a failed season , Ryan will be given the boot.

I say why stop at Tebow, I think we should of signed Charlie Brown as our FG kicker and Lucy as the holder, NOW THAT WOULD BE PIZAZZ!....and about as effective in turning this franchise around.

Our defense embarrassed tebow until he put together a drive vs our prevent defense and we failed to cover the onside kick.

He doesn't scare me at all.

You guys make me laugh. This team doesn't. You bitched about Henne the robot...at least Tebow would have had something encouraging to utter about all the good guys working hard around him here. That would be uplifting for a lot of players. The issue is quite moot now that he's a Jet. He'll do it in NY/NJ and take over the QB position from Sanchez in short order. His detractors will wait to slam this leader when he errs. The fun begins for "big mouth," the Jets and the Jet fans.

BTW, Garrard is better than Moore. However, neither is capable of leading this team on the field to the playoffs in 2012. Don't expect more than 5 wins. We don't have an offense.

At least with Lucy and Charlie Brown, you'd be sure of the fact that Charlie's shoe would never make contact with the ball. winking smiley
