Will Allen played pretty well last year, when he came back from being cut on the last day of camp... Sad to see WIll Allen go he was a leader and a solid player.
JC, I'm sure I made an overstatement but for now, specifically, I can't recall a Dolphin that went there that did not hurt us. Except maybe Mallett to the extent that he SHOULD HAVE BEEN a Dolphin.

Lousaka didn't hurt us! Lol
I don't recall Damon Huard doing much damage.
Sammy Morris didn't exactly tear it up.
But there is a long list of them that did go on to hurt us, no doubt about it.
Okay on Sammie Morris and Huard (although I was called Huard's mom on the old miami dolphin chatboard) but are you sure Lousaka has been given enough time?
I'm very hopeful that Philbin and his staff are good at coaching up players. At GB, they didn't seem to just have a good gameday X's and O's thing going (think Cam Cameron with Chargers). They took players from a variety of rounds on offense and put them and the system together to create a fantastic offense. Only Rodgers and Bulaga are 1st-round starters on their offense. However - and this utterly amazed me - every single offensive starter from last year was either drafted by GB originally or undrafted (2 OL). To me, that speaks volumes about:
1. Philbin's coaching ability in the area of player development
2. the importance of the draft vs. FA (I'm warming up to the idea of the 2 3rds we got for Marshall, though I initially thought we were raped)
3. regarding the draft, specifically the importance of selecting coachable players who fit what the coach has in mind in rounds 2-4. I don't know where Jordy Nelson was rated the year he was drafted, but he looked like an absolute steal as a 2nd rounder last year where he might have looked like a reach when they made the pick (just an example...I'm not sure how the pick was viewed by GB fans when it was made).

Ohhhhhhhh.........I knew I liked you Chyrene! BINGO.
The fact is teams are find depth and getting better everyday and Miami is sitting on its ass. No restructering contracts, no resignings, no free agents........na da. ZERO. doughnuts. Nothing.
Right now I could be the GM and do a better job. I could at least make sure the red Carpet was being properly cleaned or something productive. Not just sitting on my ass collecting a check.
So you ignore the fact that they just tendered Hoyer a 2nd rnd tender (meaning he's pretty valuable to them) or the fact that Mallet's supposedly a horrible fit (foot work wise) for the WCO???????
Bashing Ireland is fun and easy right now, I get that, but at least bash him for the stuff he actually is messing up.
Fun & Easy? Its anything But Fun. And if its easy Thats his doing. I have news for you , he signed almost every player on that Rooster. if the players suck or the Cap is a problem , ITS HIS FAULT , no one elses.
