Yeah just what we need. Penalties from the sidelines. I don't see him firing up anyone. These are pros not HS kids.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a dam. Screw the NFL I'm just as sick of the whingeing from fat cats, players and owners alike, as I am of Politics. Left, Right, Left, Right, Left Right. Maybe they should lesson to themselves and start marching toward reality.

Well I thought this was a football site. Anyway it's an interesting topic always in the news today. ChyrenB, I just have to say that I have zero sympathy for your pay or lack there of. You can work in the private sector with your education and whether the stress of billable hours or lack there of and chance the possibility of layoffs in this down economy. Much like my Son does. Or you can sta

I've been to Arizona. I don't like cactus very much. Say how come you're a Phins fan in Chicago? I agree with you that I see no reason for the NFLPA. Players negotiate their own contracts anyway. Let them put in clauses that protect them down the road. Such as retirement, injury protection. What good is the NFLPA anyway?

"Funny about ownership. I'm a small-biz owner and I own a few rental properties, so I should probably be more aligned with the owners from that perspective. I've never been in a union, so I don't know what that's like." Well I own a small business too. And also rental properties. Much in common there. I was 19 years with the union. The biggest problem with unions IMO is that they di

I hope he is a better coach.

This whole topic is why these negotiations should be private and not public. I know that won't happen, but the info that spreads around will always be tainted by the Players, Owners, and media. Maybe it's because of being experienced as a Union Shop Stewart, Manager, and now Business owner that I sit back and just smile at it all. It will work out eventually and none of us will have a thing to

Once a Dolphin fan, always a Dolphin fan. And yes the last time that happened we went to the SB. I won't base my fan support on some work stoppage.

tsstamper, just curious. Do you desert your favorite actors if they make a bad movie? What about singers/entertainers? Do you stop listening if they cut a bad song? Baseball and Football is nothing more than entertainment. I would say you were never much of a baseball fan if you stop watching because of a labor dispute. Do you boycott a company if they have a labor dispute. I think you mig

The Dolphins need to make a decision. Either bring in a QB that will be legitimate competition for the starting job, or let Thigpen compete fairly for it. I think Tyler would win out. But then who am I?

You might what to open eyes a little wider regarding the economic effect of a Super Bowl. Though the average fan or person in the local area won't feel money entering his pocket there is a trickle down effect. A city like Miami that depends on tourism will feel that money immediately as there are so many people in a tourist related business. The trickle down is the tax revenue the local mun
