I've been thinking what mix does it take to win? Is it 50% talent on a team, 30% QB, and 20% coaching? It is not all QB as many teams have solid QB's but are not winning. Carolina, Rams. When Brady went down a few years ago the Pats kept right on winning so it is not all QB either. Tony cost us 4 games this year playing not to lose and sitting on the lead, so coaching is important.

IF this was Irelands first all Ireland and only Ireland year he has done rather well. The draft is looking good. Moore is looking like a very solid QB Bush is playing very well. Barnett is finally coming around. Id be very pleasee with another season of this level of work.

It is an interesting time of year. Wanting your team to win, but knowing a win will cost you a draft spot that is important. However if we do beat the Jets and Patriots do we have such a huge need for a QB?

I have to admit i was leaning towards keeping him IF he would show he had learned to play to win and keep the pedal to the metal scoring points. However, in the EAgles game when they took the 7 pt lead and the defense was dominating i thought they would sit on that lead. True is I saw all the problems (some carried over from last year)in the first 2 games this year. It took Tony what 8 weeks to figure it out? 1) playing 10-15 yards off the receivers 2) playing not to lose (not sure he has this one figured out.) ChyrenB I have to seriously disagree with you. I don't think this coaching staff (Tony) tries to win, I think they try not to lose. If there is a 10 poing lead in the first quarter they will shut down the offense and try to run out the clock and hold that lead for the rest of the game. That is why they keep losing...

Got news for you folks, the Dolphin will likely finish with 7 wins which is going to push us down the draft list. I don't see the Dolphins trading up. Tony would LOVE Tebow!!!!!!!!!! He would be able to run the ball on all 3 downs then.

Moore is a solid QB. IF the team goes on and finishes 8-8 for the season that puts Moore with a solid winning season. Not sure how anyone can say he is not the answer. If you add in the 4 games the coaching staff played not to lose AGAIN, Moore's winning % looks even better. He could easily be 9-3 as a starter.. Ill take that

Henne is no where near the QB Moore is. Moore scambles AND looks down the field. Henned would tuck and run. Moore throws the ball deep, Henne looked to check it down. I'd take Moore everyday over Henne. No way Henne is back next year.

Moore had a concussion in the second game of the season. He only started like 5 games as the starter before them. Smith was out as well.

I saw Dalton throwing at the draft combine and wondered who he was, he was making all the throws. He has a very quick release. Hard to imagine why the experts missed on him.

If the Dolphins finish out 8-4 with Moore starting is there any need to draft a QB? 2 of those loses can go on coaching and trying to sit on the leads against the Giants and Broncos. I agree with you. BUT, if Tony figuers it out and realizes he needs to start and keep attacking on both sides of the ball the team will continue to win. And if they somehow end up at 8-8 then it is hard to get rid of him.
