Tebow is a PR nightmare for Elway, could you imagine how bad it'd be in the state of Fla? Fogetaboudit! Looks like unless we have a top 4 pick we'll have to trade up.
If Jackson is so tight with the Broncos organization, he's probably not going to give out their secrets. This could be a big diversion to hide Denver's true intentions during the next draft.
I dont want Tebow on my team at all. He creates a circus that I dont want my team to be a part of, and dont get me wrong...I am pulling for the guy.
That being said, I am betting on us having to trade up...even if we have the #6 or #7 pick. Teams are really gonna be trying to get one of these big name QB's coming out.

But who says he really cares. He makes it pretty obvious on Monday Night Countdown that Elway will be a player in the Big 4 sweepstakes come the 2012 draft.
anyone who wants barkley will need to trade up to #2. us or anyone else. bank on it. jones or rg3 could probably be had in the top 10 without moving up. all depends on who we want.

Has that ever happened before? QBs with the top 3 picks?

At least once, the 1999 draft, which saw Tim Couch go first to the Browns, Donovan McNabb go second to the Eagles, and Akili Smith go third to the Bengals.
Caveat: Couch turned out to be a bust, and Smith was even worse.

It's not like McNabb turned into a HoF QB either. Eeek! I sincerely hope history does NOT repeat itself in that regard. OUCH!!
Last year Gabbert kinda came out of the blue right before the draft, is there anyone that might play themselves or "combine" themselves into first round consideration? Other then the "big 4" already being talked about.

Unless we get the second pick overall lets say and trade with indi to get luck.
Im guessing we would have to give the hause in order to trade with indi if we get the 9th or 10th pick..........but if we get the second pick overall we won't have to give that much ..JMO.
Thats why i hope we do not win any more games. Just for that.
I'm afraid you will get your wish, Ken. Not out of any conscious design or strategy but because our coaching staff does not know how to do anything but lose, try hard as they may.
If we have a team down by a lot of points, then maybe we will win but if the game is anyway close, we will lose because our coaching staff, in their best and most sincere effort to win, will make brain-dead decisions that will maximize the odds that the other team will win and if the game is close, as the premise here holds, they (the other team) will win.
I think we will beat the jets and bills, and probably the eagles or raiders. we will lose to one of those, and the pats. That makes 6 wins. I hope we don't, that would set us back another 10 years, b/c with matt moore next year and for the forseeable future, we are a 7-9 team and still no QB. Best case---we beat only the jets and are able to pick barkely without trading up, or without giving up the farm to trade up just 2-3 spots. If we win 6, forget it, we'd need to give up to much to get to #2 (where we'd need to be to get barkely for sure) and we won't do it.
