You can play word games if you want. I'm not at all interested in how you interpreted what I said. I stick by what I originally said, to wit, "Do you suggest we lose-ON PURPOSE? That's crazy too." I think that's clear enough.

I believe your evaluation of Sparano is incorrect.

That may be, but Pasqualoni won't have had much to do with it.

He was a good linebacker with attitude. I don't know what kind of coach he is, but if he can instill the attitude that he had into his players, then that is a step in the right direction.

Sorry I brought that up. Also, I agree, Ginn's got the talent, it seems concentration is his problem.

Correct. You don't lose to get a better draft choice-draft choices are to help you WIN THE GAME.

Speaking in the past tense about the guy is premature, because your points will be as apropos of us next year as anybody else, when we have acquired a true #1 receiver. I'd rather keep his God-given speed right here for a while. Also, I agree about Chris. I wish I could get his blog on my Kindle.

Surely you jest. Do you really think this post clarifies things?

Regardless of what the pundits and statisticians say, I have formed my own personal opinions after watching both guys all year with my own eyes. I definitely feel good about the future. I think Chris Clemmons is going to be part of that future, too.

1992. Re: JETS
Are you serious?!?! No, didn't think so.

I could do that. Of course, I'd have to be a Philadelphia Eagles fan again. Crazy. Do you suggest we lose-ON PURPOSE? That's crazy too.

I know nothing about college football, but his point seems to be a reasonable one, and your answer doesn't shed any light on the subject at hand at all. I don't think we have a place for Al Groh, but if the possibility exists that he might come here, I want to know his strengths and weaknesses. Your post didn't help me-or anybody else-learn anything useful.

I don't get it.. This kid looks puny to me, and obviously to many others. Yet, he's listed on this site and at least one other as being 197 lbs. Where is that weight? Maybe he's got a big butt? I know he's listed at 6', so with that weight he should be pretty stocky, but in reality he looks like a boy among men out there. I could believe 175, but I just can't see 197.

We've lost both LB coaches now. Good Riddance.

You said: "No real dominant team in the AFC." What?!?! I think the Colts are pretty dominant right now.

Wouldn't he want to come in as DC? Did Paul Pasqualoni leave or retire when I wasn't looking?

I truly enjoyed Dennis Miller as a commentator, but I can see where most fans wouldn't. His choice of words wasn't stupid at all if you understood where they were coming from. His perspective is, to say the least, unique. It was very clear, however, that he knew the game.

We haven't seen enough of him to know if he sucks or not. He does look like a boy among men when he's on the field, though.

You're entitled to your opinion. As far as I'm concerned, the first two are two of the worst. I can't recall ever having heard Johnson.

Agreed. He's worse than Paul Maguire, who at least has the excuse of having played for the Bills!

I like that idea-but how do you keep Pennington around if Henning doesn't retire this year? And..how do you know Pennington is ready to retire? From what I hear, he isn't, so he'll end up going somewhere else.

Agree. My vote, if I had one, would be absolutely YES. He wasn't, isn't and never will be worth a one, but he played better than Wilson or Clemons yesterday. While he did get beat for the touch, he also did an excellent job on the other pass into the endzone, knocking it away when it looked like a walkover. Besides, he's a very good special teamer and a dependable (I'm looking at YOU, Akin Ayodel
