We already have Pat White. Why would we need Cribbs?

Cribbs played QB in college just like White. If White puts on some muscle in the offseason and tries out at WR, he'd could end up just as good as Cribbs.

Regardless, what would we do with another non-#1 WR? He doesn't have the speed of Ginn, so he's not going to have the same success in kick returns as him. I'd gladly give up Porter for the sake of giving Wake and Anderson more playing time, but I wouldn't make a trade like you suggest.

so he's not going to have the same success in kick returns as him.-

CRIBBS is a PROFESSIONAL Special teamer PR/KR. He is on another level. Pure speed alone doesn't necessarily dictate the yardage out of a given return.

So 2 runbacks for TDs in the same game doesn't dictate a PROFESSIONAL? Forgive me, but I thought Ginn was a PROFESSIONAL football player just like all the other guys on the Dolphins team. I didn't realize he played for free. eye rolling smiley

I cant say how good of a reciever cribbs is since the qbs over in cleveland are suspects at best. Anyhow he is going to demand big money and to pay all that for a guy who only returns kicks is not worth it.

If like you guys said he ran the wildcat, returned punts and kicks, in addition to being either our #1 or #2 reciever then I would give consideration...

Exactly what has White done that would lead you to this conclusion? Wanting a player to be good and he actually being good are two different things. White has done nothing that would indicate he will even make it in the NFL. I don't go after rookies cause they are rookies but I am not ready to say the kid could be as good as Cribbs. As it stands he has no value.

Currently he has 10 TD's from special teams. That alone makes him more valuable than Ginn.

Wow! You wanna throw in the cheerleading squad and a coke also. That is waaaay to generous for a special teamer.

Andre johnson is a guy I would give up draft picks for but both 6 rounders Ginn and Porter wow

Just look at Cribb's bio coming out of college and compare it to White. PW wasn't put in the right situations this year. I think if he puts on some muscle he could do very well the same as Cribbs and Randall-El. You just can't PW him for how well he hands off to Ricky.

I don't get it.. This kid looks puny to me, and obviously to many others. Yet, he's listed on this site and at least one other as being 197 lbs. Where is that weight? Maybe he's got a big butt? I know he's listed at 6', so with that weight he should be pretty stocky, but in reality he looks like a boy among men out there. I could believe 175, but I just can't see 197.
