Yeah, I think so. I don't think its a permanent thing, and he's not getting much help from his WR's and blockers, but he's making bad decisions just now, and you can't blame that on anybody but him.

Maybe so, but keep in mind we drafted him in the seventh round of the 2006 draft..and this is the first whisper anybody's heard from him. How long do we wait?

I think, if Will Allen is healthy, we've got the guy in the secondary that know what's going on, and Charlie Anderson has the speed to be more effective in coverage than what we've got now (AND he tackles better!), and I think Davis, Smith and some of the other young guys (Clemons, Wake, Sperry, Hilliard, maybe Thigpen and Turner) might be able to contribute next year but I mostly agree with you

Not a dream, just speculation. I would be flabbergasted if it happened, it doesn't make much sense, but that is what I heard. By the way, who shot it down, and when? I hadn't heard about that.

I heard some rumblings several weeks ago that the Lions might be interested in trading off Calvin Johnson this offseason. I don't know a lot about this guy, but I have heard some good things, and his 6'5", 236 lb. 24 year-old body seem to fit Parcells's requirements. The guy has size and speed, and if we get a chance at him it would seem we've got to take it if the price isn't too steep. Is

Three things are painfully obvious:
1.This team is built to stop the run. The linebackers are waaay too slow to cover ANYBODY!
2.Chad Henne has fallen apart.
3.Ted Ginn can't catch a pass in the middle of the field, but his moves on that last kick return were excellent.
This game, to me, is epitomized by Akin Ayodele's pathetic attempt at a tackle on a swing pass that he had a wide open sho

I think we might be able to get as high as a 3rd for him. I was talking to a Buffalo fan, and they really like the guy. Other team's fans I have spoken to feel the same way. They don't watch him every week, they just know he has tremendous speed. I think he needs a change of scenery, if just for his own sake. If we can get a three (or a four, for that matter) for him, we ought to grab it.

"I almost would rather go 7-9 and move up several picks"
You have difficulty staying on topic, don't you? This team has a shot at the playoffs, and you want them to lose!?!? For the draft?!? As Chad Ochocinco would say, "Child, please".

I have been a Ted Ginn supporter until he proved to me this year that I shouldn't be. This guy doesn't make catches a #2, #3, or even a #4 pro receiver routinely makes, much less those of a #1. Any ball that hits any professional receiver in both hands should be caught, especially if the receiver is not getting hit at the same time. It can't be said (though perhaps it should be) that Ginn has los

You're right, and I'm sure I'll be calm and collected later, but now I'm too busy cursing and screaming at the TV.

He's our kick returner..but he hasn't given us any field position because, as every Pop Warner player knows, YOU DON'T RUN BACKWARDS!

I thought that this article was just a waste of space on a slow news day - and now that I have glanced at it, I'm sure of it.

I don't disagree that "both will be just fine"- I think you're right. However its the "now" that worries me. Davis has been the more effective in my opinion. He gets the other team's best receiver week in and week out, Smith gets what's left. Davis is also arguably more instinctive and certainly the more physical of the two. Smith has made some plays, but frequently looks lost

I don't know if anybody's noticed it, but even though Sean Smith is "going to be good", right now he SUCKS. If he doesn't get help from Gibril Wilson over the top(problematical in itself), he gets beat more often than not. Without a little bit of luck last week, he gives up a huge pass with less than a minute left to the Pats. This week isn't the Patriots receivers, but he still looks l

Who gives a damn what the Jets do? All this crap is offseason speculation, anyway. Let's finish the season first.
