I think we have too many needs to be trading away picks. Ronnie and Fasano are both potentially free agents, depending on what happens with the CBA. I think we need a young RB regardless, but if we lost both of those guys, then RB and TE become must haves. We need a physical, fast WR. We may need NT depth. And we may have multiple needs at LB.
we arent' drafting a RB next year when you have Ronnie, Ricky, Cobbs, and Lex on this team. RB is a position that can wait till 2011. No rush for that spot.
We have HUGE voids at NT, S, LB, WR (in whichever order you want to prioritize)
we aren't taking a RB early in next years draft....its just not gonna happen. Even if we go into the year with JUST ricky and lex (which won't happen, but for arguements sake)....thats good enough. We have NOBODY at NT, WR, or S to speak of.....so RB isn't a need

haaa haaa haaaa merry jokemas
You are kidding or without knowledge Mikey. RB is the most critical position to this team THE MOST. Ronnie is hurt AGAIN, Ricky is coughing up the rock, Cobbs hurt, and Hilliard is decent at best.
And in this NFL economy you think we could go out and sign a great RB for 2011 if we need one? No way, you have to draft the talent. Thats why I could see us taking GERHART in the 2nd. Or maybe even SPILLER in the 1st.
Ricky has always been somewhat fumble-prone, but he's made up for it with great runs. It's not going to change for Ricky. He's no better, or worse, about fumbling than before. When paired with Ronnie he was better because he didn't have to carry the team.
We need Ronnie for the Wildcat to work. If we get Cobbs back but not Ronnie, then we should still have a decent running game. We're just woefully thin right now at that position.
