I don't really see a 13 year injured vet who was always undersized as a viable option for this team, or any other, as a player, but Dave Hyde is right..we should re-sign him for a day and have him retire as a Dolphin. I was a linebacker, I never thought too much about what I was inflicting on opposing running backs. I'm glad I didn't read this then, I might not have been as effective. I was pretty astounded that the NFL Network voted the '72 Dolphins as the top Super Bowl-winning team. It should have been a no-brainer at 17-0, but we all know how "objective" the NFL Network usually is.
