Well like I said alot would depend on how we got there but change just for the sake of change is not always a good thing and I happen to still have trust in the trifecta (if we go 6-10 my trust would start wanning but I would probably still give them another year). Those big name coaches dont always work out, pretty sure the consesus was JJ was the answer.....not so much, then Saban was the answe

Depends on how we get there, if we have a ton of inj. but the team keeps playing hard then no, but if we look buffoonish and the team quits on him then maybe. But I still would want Parcells and Ireland

I will be disappointed if we're not at least contending for the Div. and at the very least a wildcard, but I think the SB is still a few years away. I'm happy with building a good solid team for many years to come even if it takes an extra year or two. Unless we go 1-15 again I dont see any way the trifecta gets canned after next year nor would I want them to, we need to keep some consistency at

Agreed Monty, we are good enough at RB to wait a year or draft one late in this draft. Way too many other needs to go after one early this April

If Disneys funding it then yeah, but it would be a tough sell on taxpayers to build it without a home team. Maybe Jax moves because they've been having probs selling out right?

If you had a choice of getting only one; Boldin at big bucks and draft pick(s) or Dansby at big bucks, which one would you want/think we need more? I say Dansby just because he's a little younger, less injury prone and wouldn't cost us any picks.

A 4th would great but if they gave up a 2nd I might have a quessy feeling in my gut.

"Remember the Colts-Bears Super Bowl. EVERYONE got rained on for 4+ hours. The NFL was pissed." But in the same breath Mike the NFL is considering a cold weather game in NY, something don't make sense here?

Boldins un-happy for a reason, he wants huge Jerry McGuire type money. I wont complain if we get him but i'm growing a little leery of what it will cost us in picks and $$$$$$$

I tend to agree with you eesti that there is still a small chance he's the guy (the 3 yr breakout thing is just a trend not a rule) BUT the thing I noticed about Ginn is he's very scared of contact and i'm not sure that goes away with time. I know guys like M. Harrison would avoid contact but I think that fear is what's holding Ginn back

If they were willing to give up a 1st and 3rd why wouldn't they just make a run a RFA like Austin or Vincent Jackson and not have to throw Ronnie in? No way they make this deal, Detroit either

It was Armondo's blog Mike and he was reporting a rumor that he himself said was bogus. Do they print his internet blog in the hard copy of the paper?

Calvin's a hell of a talent but i'd be pissed if this deal ever sniffed materializing. (by the way I think this is absolute BS that there is even talk between the 2 teams about it, just a baseless internet rumor)

Only time will tell who's right Mike but I think the owners absolutely want one and I listen to the NFL channel almost non-stop and i've never heard an "NFL insider" say they don't. When you get an opinion you seem to want to ram it down everyones throats as being gospel but like I said only time will tell who's right on this. I think this opting out was something the players probably p

By franchising him dont they have to pay him a top 5 kicker salary? Mare is not a top 5 kicker anymore (if he ever was at all). Horrible move IMO

Front loading won't work, I heard on Sirius NFL radio yesterday when they get a deal done they are going to pro-rate next years salary in the contract. An un-capped year next year is only beneficial for dumping a big contract and not taking a big salary cap hit.

I also think Dansby doesn't necessarily rule out Mclain either but it would definately give us options on draft day.

Lets go the suspense is killing me, first week or so should tell us alot about draft strategy and where the trifecta thinks this team is at. Few big name FA's but we need to somehow fill at least ONE of our glaring needs through free agency then follow that up with a top notch draft.......just thought i'd say that to get it out of my system

I agree with Monty, if we got Antonio or Boldin we'd still have to draft someone to groom so i'd rather get Antonio for no picks then give up a 2nd/3rd for Boldin. I believe Boldin's better but i'm stingy with picks
