Lets see it all unravel when T.O. gets more yards and they lose to the lowly Bills this Sunday.

Man talk about the era of "Instant Gratification", some of you people are nuts.....we're starting TWO rookie CB's, they're more then holding their own and some guys are ragging on them? It takes a few years to become very good at any position in the NFL, give em some time.

Not a big college guy here so I cant say one way or another if he's worth moving up for but this regime seems to covet picks, so unless it's a minor trade with some late round picks I cant see them doing it. We have too many holes to fill so I dont think I'd want em to either.

Excellent post Phinsfan and on top of all the good moves made lets not forget some of the ones we didnt make, like over-paying for aging vets and trading away draft picks.

I cant believe how impatient some people are. They've had more hits than misses in the personnel dept. and you cant get all the moves right. Compared to past regimes I am absolutely exstatic with this one even if they end up 8-8. Name me another team that can lose their starting QB, starting (and 3rd string) RB starting NT and a starting CB among others and still be competitive? Victors response

I basically made this same point in another thread, we all just need to chill out and give these guys some time to build this thing right. And remember that every personnel move isnt gonna be a homerun, they will miss on some.

I basically cut and pasted this from another topic but here it is again, thoughts? I thought the playoffs were a long shot when we started 0-3 but I still think the season could be deemed a success. Lets not forget we are only 2 yrs removed from 1-15, this regime is a doing a pretty good job turning this thing around the right way with wise FA spending, good solid drafts and not throwing away

He wont stick around forever but I would like to see him around for at least 1 more off-season. It's hard to say who's more responsible (him or Ireland) for the last 2 good offseasons but one thing is for sure, and that is that the 2 of them together has been pretty stellar. If Ross is serious about winning he should get out his checkbook and make him and his boys an offer they cant refuse to sti

Haven't read the explanation yet but we got away with one if you ask me, but thats alright because we've been on the other end of many of these types of hose jobs in the past.

Horrible call, you punt and make em earn it. Yes it was ballsy but it was not good coaching. (that little dot stands for period!)

He's starting to get antsy about being the 4th most targeted reciever on the team and with the emergence of some of the younger guys would anyone be over-joyed if we made a run at this guy in the offseason? I thought Dallas way overpaid to get him so for me I would have to see what we would give up to get him. He's a big name but I always thought he was a bit overrated. Thoughts?

I dont wanna stop using by any means but I am a little concerned about it stunting Henne's growth a little bit. If we come to a point of being out of the playoff picture I wouldnt mind using it less and letting him develope a little more, it has to hurt his growth as a complete QB a little if you ask me.

That fat slob of a coach sets the tone for that team, it started with Scot saying he wanted to hurt Henne and put him out of the game and then one of their players trying to start a fight with Porter and Taylor (his name escapes me) before the game (who would of ever thought Porter would be the innocent bystander in a skirmish). This team is really showing there true colors and I doubt Ryan will

When it appeared Coulston scored right before the half I went and took a shower, how did all that play out after I left? I've picked up bits and pieces about Sparanos timeout call but if he didnt score shouldnt the clock of run out (I thought the Saints were out of timeouts) even if they stopped it to review? and why would Sparano call a timeout there?

I'm not really in an arguing mood Aqua but to me a Centers main job is to block and like I said it's very important to make the right line calls but if it was just that then you would see 130# brainiac centers. But back to the original point I think it could be agreed that alot of guys made some big mistakes in that game especially in the 2nd half and it's probably not fair to throw it all on Gin

I realize those are only "EXAMPLES" but my point is in most of those examples it is a secondary job that you are citing not that players main job (it is Jake Groves main job to block the guy in front of him and his secondary job to make the right line calls for the defense lined up in front of him, I realize he needs to do both good but he can make all the right line calls he wants but

The problem with some of the examples above Aqua is that Ginn's main job is to catch the ball and he seems to have a hard time doing that, your top example about the 3 WRs making the wrong read and only going for 12 yrds instead of a 40 yrder is that at least they caught the ball in the example. Henning can say all he wants to try and help build up his confidence but unless Teddy boy starts catch

Out of sheer boredom from coming off a bye and not much else to discuss I will pose this question; If the season ended today and we were picking in the middle of the pack (15 to 20) what is our most glaring need in the first few rounds and what are some player names that would look good in Miami? I think obviously WR is a glaring need with getting a stud Safety and getting younger at LB coming in

I Agree about ND and Weiss both being overrated but my comments about Claussen were more about his demeanor that bugged me. I would have to seriously think about becoming a fan if they lure Gruden there after this year, I think he would make an awesome college coach and would turn that program around in a hurry. The stuff about "Sanchize" is that it's not really his fault that they t

Is my Notre Dame love showing through? I'll admit he's good but there is just something about his demeanor on the sidelines that bugs me. I live about 45 mins away from South Bend so we get the Irish shoved down our throat about as much as the Cubs.

On the college level there is just something about the Claussen kid from ND that annoys the crap out of me.
