The way he's been playing you have to throw Romo in this conversation also.

I think at 1st when we would split the QB out wide it could be considered a "gimmick" but now when we straight line up and ram it down their throats and they can't stop it it's just a good formation that we run really well. It's really brilliant when you think about it and i'm surprised it took this long to come the NFL, by eliminating the QB your adding another blocker and there is so

At what point would/should it be considered a formation? At one time i'm sure the spread offense was new and considered a gimmick but it eventually evolved into an accepted formation, same as the shotgun etc. The Dolphins didn't create this new formation (they brought it over from college) but if it remains succesful and if more teams perfect it they will be known as the innovators of a new forma

I like Gruden and my critizism of him is really minor and on the knit-picky level, I do think he's only gonna be in the booth for 1 season though as he will be in South Bend next year after they shit-can Wiess

Gruden's ok but I think he gets blinders on with one subject a little to much, last week it was Favre (which happens with alot of announcers) and this week it was Sanchez/Ryan. He even praised them for bringing in Favre last year and in hindsight that turned out to be arguably one of the worst personnel moves of the whole off-season. Maybe I was a little to sensitive last night because of that wh

Khaziglu said; "We get a swing pass that nets 5 yds and it is what a great play the Jets defender did to not allow more yards, Sanchez gets a short pass that nets 3 yards and it is what a great job he did keeping the downs manageable." Thats the exact kind of stuff that was driving me nuts, not to mention I dont think they mentioned Sparanos name once the whole 1st half but kept sho

Was it just me or was the East coast bias in full effect last night? All 3 boobs just couldn't stop gushing about everything the Jets were doing, especially Gruden. I get it that noone really picked them before the game started but during the game it was making me sick. I normally done give a rats ass about this kinda of stuff but this was a bit too much. Thoughts?

Ranger hit it right on the head, Thigpen! Pretty decent legs and a way bigger threat to toss out of this formation

A little off topic after a big loss but I'm coming down there this Sat. so I can attend my 1st ever home game on Mon. night (my b-day by the way) and will be staying at the Royal Palm South Beach Resort, I'm looking for a local place that will show the UFC fight on Sat. night and also a good sports bar to watch the games on Sunday. Close to the hotel would be prefered, any suggestions? Thanks in

The constant talk about Boldin reminds of all the talk about trading with Dallas last year for the #1 pick, virtually impossible last year and highly improbable this year!

I've always kinda thought of Chad as the bridge to the next level, doubt he'll be the starter when we are serious contenders again. No dis-respect in saying that I just think he has limited skills and is injury prone. O-line didnt help him much yesterday but he was forcing things

I totaly agree with you about it taking a few yrs for WR's to develop and I'm OK with that (Ginn should be a stud next year), were all riding pretty high right now with the current turn around but lets not forget that this is a couple year re-building process. We'd be fooling ourselves to think that this is a Superbowl caliber team and it probably wont be next year either so lets just stick to th

Looks like a ton of WR prospects so I would anticipate grabbing one in the 1st 3 rnds. I wish people would stop calling for us to get Housh and all the other older guys, I for one am sick and tired of over paying for guys on the down side of there career (he may still be a good WR but it would take a boat load of $ to get him, lets just stay on course and keep re-building this thing through soli

I highly doubt Favre was coming back to the Jets next year even before this story broke.
