Well, I was grossly over optimistic. The Dolphins' defense can't mix it up with a hard-nosed team like the Eagles. The D got pushed around all night. Our D lucked out with the interception TD but aside from that a poor showing. Offensively, not having our lighting fast rookie running back in the mix hurt. Next, I must criticize our temporary center, Eichenberg he is lousy and isn't much of a guar

A few hours before game time and NE beats the Bills. We are atop the division. Tonight we gain more ground with a BIG win. Go Dolphins!

We ARE that good and the Eagles will lose this game! The defense will be ready for the Eagles and put pressure on their QB and WRs. How do I know? I can see the improvement weekly and this is the big competition the Dolphins needed to show the country they are for real this season. I am optimistic. Go DOLPHINS!

Gronk would be an added threat for sure. He's too busy doing commercials though and apparently enjoying other gigs too. Time will tell as it is said.

I think we have a damn good team overall. Some improvement needed but things look pretty good. These are words I haven't stated in a long while. Go Dolphins!

Butkus was one helluva player. He was an inspirational tough guy with an obvious sense of humor (Miller Light commercials).

The Bills lost; we won. I guess they were too full of themselves after last week's victory over us. We are 4-1 and they are 3-2. Good for us. Tua is doing okay but is throwing too many balls into tight coverage, maybe he is assuming one of his fleet-footed receivers will catch it, no matter what. He needs to be more a bit more careful IMO. 76 yard run--Achane is like the roadrunner, Wisss

There aren't accurate words to adequately describe the events of this game. Astonished? Wild and Crazy? Unbelievable? Brilliance? All fitting but not enough to match the scoring drives and overall play. The game was a blast to watch!

The long Mostert running TD was terrific. Great blocking by the O-line. Mostert found the hole and was gone! What the Patriots did with their Safeties to take away the long ball will be used by other teams now. So a good balance of running and throwing must be relied on to score points. The first game with airing it out against the Chargers may not be seen for awhile. Andy Van Ginkel was

Half time score is a deserving 17-3 Dolphins. Patriots are trying to prevent the long plays and are succeeding so far. Balanced offense so far is working for the Fins. Keep 'er going guys. Defense is playing better than last week.

Our Dolphins are in Foxboro to face the Patriots in prime time. It's now time for the Dolphins to play great on offense, all aspects, and on defense. Game starts is 8:20 pm. GO DOLPHINS!

Jimmy was a great entertainer and a contemporary of mine. Fun loving guy that enjoyed life and thrilled his fans. As a big fan of his, I will miss him.

Not into the game at first, and soon began to roll my eyes when the snap to Tua was lost in the red zone. Grabbed a cup of coffee and watched as the game started to gain momentum. The connection between Hill and Tua aroused my interest and soon I thought this is going to be a shoot-out and that came true. Glad we won! Defense came alive at the end of the game...it was timely. We have lots of

I am glad many of you have fun contemplating possible draft picks in the off-season. It's football related and it helps many stay focused for the fall. As for me, I find the NFL draft a real crap-shoot for the Dolphins, especially for the past two decades. Speculating on the moves isn't my cup of tea and I watch the show to be entertained. I watch the zealots react to the picks and often chuckle

I am going to start my own rumor. No he is not coming to Miami nor is Brady going to un-retire and find his way here to back up Tua. Let's see, what else...oh yeah, the sky is falling. LOL

Minimal improvement at best. Not enough, IMO to be optimistic for 2023 season. Off-season changes will determine if we advance further or take two steps backwards.

Back to the drawing board...once again. Coaching jobs need to be upgraded especially keeping McDaniels from calling plays. He is mediocre at best. Player wise...we have the makings of a very good, competitive team. However, part of the reality of the game is that starters will get injured and either play hurt and at a reduced level, or be temporarily out with 2nd string players stepping in to

81. Re: Tua
Hooligan2 I suspect, that whoever we put out there to QB the team will fail against the Bills. Aside from mounting a couple of field goals, we will be out scored by 3, maybe 4 TDs. Out D will be exhausted by the end of the 3rd Quarter. I can envision that happening.

Here it is folks, week 18 and we face the Jets in a do or die situation to make the playoffs. Thompson has been preparing all week and hopefully that will be enough to mount a scoring drive or two to outpoint the Jets with veteran QB Joe Flacco running the Jets offense. I've always liked Joe and think he is still formidable. It will be interesting to see how Joe fares against our pressure.

Joe Flacco. He can still play and can throw the field with his arm strength. It will be interesting.

JC--where is this forum going...throwing out latin terms now? I'll need to put on my smoking jacket and sit beside the fireplace with Ole Yeller. LOL If there were two efforts at CPR...I have to wonder whether the first wasn't really an arrest but simply an episode of vasovagal syncope. Lots of people around the world faint for various reasons, however, one of those possible triggers is sudden

My wife was a cardio-pulmonary RN and as she viewed the behavior of Hamlin, she said "he went into arrest, he's in trouble. Code Blue!" She was right. Calling the game was the right thing to do. I too hope that resuscitation wasn't delayed and that 1) Hamlin survives and 2) he survives without any brain damage. Everyone who watched the going's on where in shock. The sportscasters wh
